As the Hallmark channels have started their 24/7 Christmas movies, I am getting into the spirit of the holidays, so this project is looking very interesting!! I love that you show us how easy it is to create the base. You've taken care of all the paper engineering for us. As I have zero skills in this area, I really appreciate someone else doing all the math for me. Thanks, Kathy!
Thanks, Martie! I love paper engineering! There's just something so satisfying about taking a flat piece of paper and turning it into something dimensional, something that moves. I think you'll get a lot of mileage out of this tutorial because you have a creative mind that can translate one idea into another. Hope you enjoy your Christmas movies!
You always make the most beautiful projects, and this recipe books is ADORABLE. I love the papers you choose! I want everything you make! And your details make it so special. Tfs and making my day! Much appreciation and hugs
Thanks for showing details and measurements on the card base. That is where I seem to mess up. I measure twice and cut once and it will still be wrong. (The spine will be on the wrong side of the fold!) Some of us need extra help. Liked hubby's Christmas guitar playing, too.
You can do it, Ann! I sometimes make a mock up base with really cheap cardstock just so that I don't waste my "good" paper. Then when I have the design the way I want it, I bring out the "good stuff!" Thanks so much for watching and leaving such great comments! I appreciate you!
Thank You Kathy for this Share and Tutorial. What weight of Cardstock and paper Brand did you use to make this? I am shopping now to make this Folio now. Your Blog does not say. Excited!!!!
Hi, Kathy! I generally use 110# cardstock for building card and folio bases. I don't have the packaging for the cardstock I use here, but since I rarely use anything but 110# that's probably what it is. Have fun making this one!
@@kathyclementkathybydesign THANK YOU SOOO Much Kathy!!! I am the BLESSED one who received your Folio and SOO want to recreate it again and again!!! Thank You Again! I just LOVE IT! Kathy

@@debraprins1437 You're welcome! No, the folded edge of each waterfall meets the cut edge of the one before it. If you look on my tutorial playlist you can find demonstrations of how to install a waterfall feature.

How many pages are there in each waterfall? And did you cut each page at 6-3/4 x 4-1/4?
There are 3 waterfall pages on each side. And yes, the pages for the waterfalls are all cut to measure 6 3/4" x 4 1/4".
@@kathyclementkathybydesign thank you so much! Did you just stack all three waterfall pieces on top of each other?
