Good job guys, that does seem a bit counter intuitive though little movement for harder hits. (and what is it with Blacksmiths and fiddle playing? ;) )
That is a sweet hammer, I am impressed with the control you have with it. Is there any danger of being able to send the ram upwards and break the hammer? I see its got the big springs there but its 600lb!
