2000 Chrysler T&C Clock Spring Swap

FIRST park the vehicle with the wheels straight forward and the steering wheel centered. Then disconnect the battery ground cable and wait for several minutes before working on the air bag. This repair requires a 'wheel puller' with 3/8-16 coarse thread bolts about 3" long. Also 8 mm socket wrench for the air bag mounting bolts. And a 13/16" socket for the nut that holds the steering wheel to the shaft. A couple of screw drivers - Phillips and small flat-blade. Symptoms of bad clock spring - air bag warning light, no speed control function, no horn.
