  • Next up in our parade across your Thanksgiving plate are the side dishes, from mashed potatoes to green bean casserole, along with cranberry, pumpkin, and sweet potato.
Now it’s time to wrap up our feast, what do we do to help us save the best part of Thanksgiving: the leftovers? We can thank inventors for that, too! Storage products like Tupperware, invented by Earl Tupper; Ziplock bags, created by Steven Ausnit; and Saran Wrap, developed by Ralph Wiley, make it easy to store our food for future enjoyment. Did you know that wax paper pioneered the way for the invention of Saran Wrap? Wax paper was used by inventors like Gustave Le Gray and Thomas Edison in photography and sound recording, but today you'll use it to make a kazoo.
