My dad died In November.. This was his favorite song. He used to sing it to all the lovebirds at the bar. He was an incredible man, nobody was a stranger to him. I can't help but cry like a baby when I hear this song.. Such beautiful memories. Love ya pops. See you again one day old man.. ❤️❤️

I lost my grandpa around 13 years ago and because of him I love classic country music and anytime I hear any of the old songs I listened to with him still brings a tear to my eye I used to call him old man too he was the closest thing I ever had to a dad
When my daughter was 9, her dog Lucky only had a few minutes left on earth, so she sang this song to him. He past away after she sung it. She cries every time she hears this song.
I remember when my dog passed away at 15 about 3 years ago. Had her since i was a child. I slept next to her when she went. 2nd only to wishing she went in my arms.
Some of my best memories are of getting into my grandma's truck. She'd say "let's hit the road, LingDing." (Portuguese for cutiepie) then give me a stick of juicy fruit gum and would put this song on. I cant sing this song without getting choked up and crying. But someday I'm going to sing it to my wife on our wedding day.
6 years ago June 7th 2014, my wife expected to walk down the Isle to the traditional wedding song.....until I pulled the mic out of my back pocket and started singing this song. Then after we said our vows I sang "a woman like you" by Lee Bryce 6 years later we are still happily married and still very much in love with that spark that started it all just as strong as it was since middle school.

In today's world, it is hard to find a woman that is worthy of this kind of love. Everybody's morals have went down the drain... I was born in 95, with an old soul. If I ever find a woman worthy of marrying. I will play this song for her to remind her of my love. ❤️ Always loved older country music.
My boyfriend who is normally all rock knows I love old country and just told me this was our song!! Oh be still my heart. I seriously can't wait to marry him one day!
As a DJ I would love to get the opportunity to play this song for a couple's first dance of the night. I believe that this song may have just been written for that very purpose. As it stands right now, it would be the first time I ever got the honor.
It has been a little more than a year now since my grandfather passed away. Here I am, listening to this song again that he loved so much. Listening to this song in my grandparents kitchen. Fixing toy-trains with my grandpa while my gramma made supper. I will always remember those days. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who left me such beautiful messages when I was in such a bad place. Faith in humanity restored! I just wanted to let you all know how much it meant to me. A heart that loves you loves you in every way and is true from the start. Don’t settle for less and don’t change for anyone. Together love heals and restores us to people we can be as one. I know I don’t know love but I’ve seen it.
3 months ago I married my original high school sweetheart from 40 years ago. Long beautiful story. She found me ten months ago on messenger. Nothing short of a miracle. Something I never thought or dreamed would ever happen. God does work in mysterious and miraculous ways. My wife is nothing but pure joy and pure love and pure happiness.
Whoever read this I want you to know that everything in your life will be alright, and any difficulties you are going through will pass and you will get through them stronger. A great song doesn't matter if your hair falls out you still going to love me. That's pretty obvious that he's going to love you. There's no definite way to begin a prayer but one is ended by the word, amen. This song was a prayer a person could learn from.

Me, too! This is gonna be our wedding song. We're not sappy like most wedding songs, but this is totally US.
I think about her all the time I listen to her, and now when I look at her that song plays constantly in my head and I feel alright, I don’t feel mentally gone, she keeps me here and I love her for that
I so luv Randy Travis when he said as long as old man sit and talk about the weather.. as long as old women sit and talk about old men...rip Grandpa u love this song still listening in 2020..

Beautiful song Randy Travis. I’m gonna love it forever and ever, Amen
My dad used to play this all
The time driving when we were kids , couldn’t stand it now I’m in my 30s and he has passed . The nostalgia has hit
Always has been my favorite
"They say that time takes a toll on a body
Makes a young girls brown hair turn gray
But, honey i dont care, i aint in love with your hair
And if it all fell out,
Well, I'd love you anyway"
❤💋
Perfect for those going through cancer, or any hard time, really.
This was my cousin's first dance song. They were so adorable together, it made me so happy to see her and her new husband dancing.
My cousin died years ago and I remember me and him sitting down and when he put this song on we would dance and sing together. RIP Cousin Matty.💖💖💖💖❣️❣️❣️❣️

I first heard this song growing up with my Nanny and now I'm 24 and there's a woman very far away from me right now that has sworn her faith to me just as I have to her and I think of her everytime I hear this song. I miss her so much
Awesome song. Randy has gone through some health issues and remains together with his wife.
This song would be an awesome wedding song or renewal of wedding vows.

One of my earliest memories of having a favorite song!
Whoever read this I want you to know that everything in your life will be alright, and any difficulties you are going through will pass and you will get through them stronger. You are an incredible person with so much strength, creativity, and you are beautiful inside and out. I wish you all the best!!
Thanks
When me and my wife get in a big fight I think about this song. Married 23 years and we always find a way to work things out.
This is my grandfathers top fav song and since he passed away
I couldn't stop crying and I even cried when I was asleep 💔
Remember sitting in a cafe with my mom and dad after not seeing him for so long because he was in jail and hearing this song and then leaving with my mom and hearing this song on the radio on the ride home and looking at her crying and I started crying and didn’t know why or get it but this song is so precious to me.
I'm 31 and I grew up listening to all Randy Travis songs but this song has special meaning to me because my husband and I danced to this song we got married
Always have found a love for his voice. Makes me just melt!
Hello Ashley how are you doing!!
The song is just wow!! I might not have someone to sing to, but i just love the song Forever and ever amen..
I'm an old (56) metal head but this guys vocals and lyrics are tops.
So beautiful a therapy on my hearing...while sipping creamy coffee and smoking a stick of Marlboro IceBlast..while relaxing on our farm...
Forever and Ever amen 2019
I worked for a party rental/wedding setup and service place for 4 years in Arkansas. This was definitely the song I heard the most out of all of them. I'd say around 80% and that feels a bit easy on the estimate. 🤣 it is a good love/wedding song though. 💕
A great song doesn't matter if your hair falls out you still going to love me. That's pretty obvious that he's going to love you. There's no definite way to begin a prayer but one is ended by the word, amen. This song was a prayer a person could learn from.
ALL I CAN SAY IS...WHAT A VOICE!
All the way from Kenya we Loveeeeeeeeeee you Randy
