the wp1 is supposed to rewind automatically, i managed to find one with all its original packaging (!!! i almost cried) and once the film runs out it should just rewind but i think you have to take a shot more than your roll and then it registers and rewinds
Well since we cleared out one of the guest rooms I have plenty of space to set up this little area to do my reviews now :) They will be much more consistent at least

Don’t know if you’re still running this page but the canon WP1 is now going for about 125 to 200.
I still am and yeah it's crazy that even the WP-1 has gone up so much
This version it's not waterproof its weather proof. The waterproof version is the canon as-1 => Original manual @t
WP1 is only weatherproof. Not waterproof.

I bought mine new in box in 2015. from a drugstore in a tiny town in Montana. Was pretty thrilled. I think we paid like $25

I use this on rainy Philly days.
It doesn't rain too much here in AZ but I'll definitely use it when it does
