@@theatomiclizard452 did you run same dungeon with correct monster family 1000 times? You think this dude running 1000 AT's were dropping him tons of best items? No. He got like 23 from those only 5-6 actually useful, so 1000/5 = 200 runs to get a random decent unique.

To be honest, I kinda stopped playing D2 after I fully geared my online non-ladder Nova Sorc. I felt I had nothing else to do. But you made me start a new singleplayer SSF sorceress and it's pretty fun! Still in Act 2 on NM, but the feeling of gearing up while doing this is fun! Thanks to you bud!

Back in the day before all the crazy runewords i had a schaefers mallet on my zeal pally and i loved it so much. I wanted to get gris set but it was really expensive back then. And i was a complete noob so i was broke 😂 watching him get that schaefers gave me a nice hit of nostalgia

I've only ever played Diablo 2 casually with some buddies, so seeing all this high level stuff is completely foreign to me. How do I start playing at this level? How do I know what's good? Is there a guide I can read or something to get started on doing this stuff? What makes some of these drops so special?
Last year I saw one of these 10k LK runa videos, and it was an absolutely ridiculous HR shower. I decided to give it a try myself, and did 10k runs. Needless to say, I only got like one fifth of what I expected. I haven't touched Diablo 2 since, heheh
@@M4RCi92 I've been farming meph for 4 days - maybe done 300 runs and haven't gotten anything worth keeping. Maybe done 100 or so LK runs so far with Tal rune as highest. Shits disheartening.
These were insanely good runs. I did hate running AT's for a long time because I did not have great luck. I stuck to it though and got myself some pretty great runes.
Have you ever played Diablo 2 on PS? Is it as enjoyable as on PC? Asking because I am considering getting PS5 to play D2R and D4. I've used to play D2 on PC for many years, but now after a long break I am thinking to try D4 and to play D2R just for nostalgic reasons. And I have no experience to play Diablo on PS. Well, except D1, which is significantly different.
I definitely recommend ps5.i don't play on pc but let me tell ya,I was playing on ps4 diablo 2 resurrected and it ran like poo.its not even worth it,load times soo long.but when I got my ps5 this I downloaded ps5 version of d2r.loading was instant.and it has performance mode so it runs buttery smooth.its like night and day.ps5 is a powerhouse, I love it.its like a mini powerfull pc.
I don't know a ton about diablo 2 uniques , as i've never been that far into the game (got to 99 in my youth, but that's like ages ago) , but i can tell those drops are good based on your reaction, i've made my first offline character last week, just got into hell, as a storm druid , i hope to get your luck! Why did you chose that map to farm ? Better for cold sorc ? I remember things like cows for javazon is a thing , don't know about sorcs..
Two big reasons: Ancient Tunnels in hell difficult is a "highest level" area, meaning the highest treasure class of items can drop there - which means every item in the game can drop. Additionally, there are no inherently cold immune monsters so cold sorc can pretty much clear it no problem with minimal gear.
My first ever Shako, I got off Andariel, and it was ethereal. But then the second one I ever got like months later was off Bone Ash, so I run him in my 'circuits' every time, now. Just in case lol
So funny, this exact thing happened to me. New char, wrapped in toilet paper, found a jah rune in AT. But then i did not bother with countess, went to straight to Kurast. Found a ber in 89 runs.
I clicked on this video because the very last item on my holy grail is griswolds shield and I thought I wonder if ancient tunnels is actually any good for it… congrats!
im happy that people enjoy diablo as much as I, but what I dont understand is the single player ... players, I only play single player when serverses used to get to busy or go out way back or hardcore toons, main thing I dont uderstand is the enjoyment for finding anything, I found Sojs , many highrunes and it just dont mean anything to me offline solo playing. still love the videos though so thanks.

Completely agree, it's got so much going for it! Decent density, easy enemies, no cold immunes, level 85 AND a super chest!
