Dear Old Heads, I was born in 1989. They killed disco before I was born. So NO, I’ve never heard of Gloria Gaynor. Yes, I’ve heard of her music, but remember, I was raised in the 90s. The “I will survive” version I know, is by Selena! 😊 the entire purpose of Rhythm Roulette is music discovery. I discovered 2 new artist (new to me) and hopefully new to this generation! We are in 2022! This music is 50 years old! And they do not play this music on the radio. Hell. We don’t even listen to the radio!! So be open to knowing they there is an entire generation that is discovering the music you grew up with. So before you judge anyone about the knowledge of what music they know, have a little compassion and remember, you are an old head 😊 I love you. Sarah
As an "old head" (I was a young child during the disco era) I can appreciate you and understand you might not know about every piece of music out there. There is sooo much out there to to be heard, no one can hear it all, and there's always discoveries to be made. I happened to stumble upon this video as a YT recommend, and I'm glad I did. What are the odds of getting the same artist twice? The soul row looked pretty long so they will have lots of records of popular artists. If they sort them alphabetically these records will all be in the same area in the row. So, if you don’t walk up and down the row the odds might be quite significant.

We hardly have any record shops left in the UK that sell old Vinyl infact the only time I ever see old Vinyl is in charity shops and often they throw hundreds of them straight in the bin because they cant be bothered to sell them.
