it's actually easier to play chords and complicated stuff on this keyboard that's the whole point of it lol

on a traditional keyboard layout, the same phrases or chords have different shapes for your fingers for every different key you play them in
whereas on this keyboard, if you have something you want to transpose it's literally as simple as moving the pattern left or right, the pattern stays the exact same

such an overused quote. Also, the design was made to be more ergonomic, isomorphic (aka, any interval/scale/chord etc has the same shape regardless of key) and was praised by the likes of Franz Liszt, among others
