I remeber boa texas like waxahachie got 4th but I personally was at the St. Louis boa with the hernando band we got 1st place in state and 25 out of the 70 bands in St. Louis boa it was amazing
@@elizabethgordon8029 we didn’t go because we usually go to grand nationals every 4 years. Also that year we went to the Macy’s thanksgiving day parade instead

Occasionally there are some bands from Oklahoma and elsewhere (Avon from Indiana was there in 2017 I think?), but by far this is almost like a second state marching contest for Texas.
Well cause going to SA super Regional especially from places like Avon is exactly how it feels for Texas bands to have to go every 4 years to Grand Nats.
@Enzo 09 no oak ridge got 14th, waxahachie made finals at state in 2018, 12th i think. Only 12 make finals at UIL unlike BOA san antonio where it is 14

yeah waxahachie didn't attend BOA San Antonio, I dont think they ever had. Also I don't think they would make finals because they are more UIL focused
