What I love about his character is, as he starts off relatively weak, then you spend the game levelling up and seeing Cals true potential and how powerful he is.
Then Vader comes along to remind you who the real Chad of Star Wars is.
You gotta remember cal is 17-18 with no actual experience before the game while Vader/Anakin has more than a decade of experience and training

Even by the end of the game despite being exponentially more powerful than he was at the start Cal's still barely a fraction as powerful as well-trained Jedi knight so it really shows that Vader was just toying with him since he didn't just instant-kill him the second he tried to take a swing at him.

I just found the whole game satisfying, truly a near perfect Jedi/star wars experience.
I thought the opposite, it's very nice to see, but it's too scripted for my taste. In addition to the input lag of the animations and the stuttering that the game sometimes has.
@@telacreiste984 Agreed. Anyone looking at the game as perfect isn't taking note of the games flaws. The second game being made that's coming out will likely improve on things.

Ø we want dismemberment because without it lightsabers are not lightsabers and more like laser batons and the dismemberment in the game is only on *Some* Droids and *Some* animals which makes it more unrealistic because if its on some things why isnt it on other things
@@chaddo1809 it would to much to process and it would make the game way more heavy, I think dismemberment should only occur in special animations but not normal attacks

I remember playing this first trought the story and was disappointing how this jedi was weak. Then i gave it another try and took my time and was the most satisfying jedi game ive played and then replayed it on jedi master and was again really really satisfying. Good job EA! For once...

The best thng about troopers was their will and confidence, beings that can create lightning, control minds, simultaneously fight legions on their own and create force waves that can lift or shatter mountains nd they believed they could beat them and did sometimes
There was one time where I was fighting some stormtroopers and I killed all but one and he said “oh no oh no oh no!” And then at one point he got a hit on me and he said “I hit him! Why did I do that?” So I felt bad and just force pushed him away and left

That was one of the more amazing things,about this,game for me. The interactive lines that the storm troopers had. The seconds they out number you, they held no fear, but the moment their numbers started to dwindle, they start freaking out, or if they get a lucky shot on you they're amazed or gloatful. It was pretty cool.😁

@@Saxandfifths I say that because he might just be as overpowered as anakin at launch leading to multiple updates of ea/dice trying to fix him. I did have the game when anakin came out so I saw when the player would press y (aka the win button) and murder every character within his range

I realized that you can definitely have Force Unleashed level badass moments in this game , you just need to work harder for them. This is proof.
Once you get the running blaster deflection you can definitely get right in there and teach the empire a lesson

Crestian Roxas same, funny thing is this purge trooper had a dialogue line saying other troopers would only get in his way. So my first thought naturally was”I’m gonna dunk on this guy” and then proceeded to only get hit once throughout the rest of the fight by a stray blaster bolt.
The Mandalore yeah same lol. I was going to go out there and actually fight him like I did on my first play through, but then I heard him saying that reinforcements would get in the way and I just couldn’t resist

That's my favorite part of fallen order, the amount of fluidity in the combat you can have, and they make most fights extremely punishing so when it's like this, it just hits

Bossk 619 the difficulty doesn’t effect how aggressive they are. Just the timing windows and damage
@@tyeklund7221 You do realize that one of the three parameters shown when tweaking the difficulty is "Enemy agression", right? In Story and Knight, they often attack one or two at a time, while in Grandmaster, they just attack if they're close, whether is one guy or four

@@tyeklund7221 Damage Output is a completely different stat. There are three separate stats when you pick your difficulty: Parry Timing, Incoming Damage, and Enemy Agression.

When cal actually completes his training
Its basically Force Unleashed, but instead of putting the focus on the force, its on lightsaber combat, only thing that would have made this perfect is the jedi academy dismemberment and one lightsaber hit being lethal 80% of the time it hits.
You can kill most of the enemies in one hit if you parry at the right time like at 4:50

Its a lightsaber, not a sword.
Getting hit just once does not offer any resistance like a regular sword would, it would go clean through weapon, armor, flesh and bone alike.
jefthereaper yeah true but that would make the game incredibly boring. The same way that cal approaching situations as a true Jedi and using violence as a last resort would be. But I get your point
@@dax421 Not really, blasters fire from a distance, and last I checked Jedi are just as squishy as normal humans, meaning getting shot could be fatal after just two hits, along with that, being hit with melee could also do some serious damage despite not being lightsabers.
The true Jedi way is to always be on the defensive and only strike back when the opportunity presents itself.
It could not be more fitting if the game was heavily focused on blocking and parrying as most attacks are lethal after just two to tree hits from normal enemies, (not counting the small vermin of course)
@@jefthereaper The game would've been even more interesting if it did play like that. Although, a lot of enemies don't live past 3 hits and especially after a parry.
