Such a delightful video! Beautiful artistry! I couldn’t help thinking about the amount of social pressure in hosting these extravaganzas! How can I top the ambience of Madame’s party and I must create some excitement that will rival Monsieur’s! Thank you for bringing history to life! I’m looking forward to the next installment!
Thank you Maria Glad you enjoyed it ! yes it's true there was definitely a pressure to impress their guests , that must have been stressful to imagine new ideas each time, you're welcome ! :)
Dear Laetitia ❣️What a fascinating time and I appreciate all of the first hand reports. Your beautiful drawings and your enchanting sweet voice were simply magnificent! The new offer of the lovely stationary is so special and looking forward to seeing more❣️Thank you for sharing your most extraordinary talent❣️❣️❣️❄️❄️☃️☃️
Dearest Laetitia.....You take us on another magical journey back in time! Your staging and music are brilliant, as always. John and I are looking forward to purchasing the writing papers and stationery supplies. They are beyond elegant! Hope your 2025 continues as magical and inspiring!
Thank you Jane for your encouraging message ! Glad you like the first glimpses of the stationery :)) Thank you Jane !! Enjoy this beginning of January too !
Thank you so much again for this wonderful story. I enjoy every minute of it and the drawings are so beautiful and magnificent, they really bring the story to life. I can't wait for your next video.
I think I would have enjoyed very much that party. I am loving this series! Thanks so much for all your work and research, you’re the best part of TH-cam! Hugs to you and Clochette 😊
I love the history, and you tell it so beautiful with the paintings. This month start a tv serie about Marie-Antoinette on BBC First. I want to see the serie. English movies are always very good and the clothes will be amazing. Hope you have a very good, healthy and creative 2025. ( I almost forget it)
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this most beautiful video: all the decorations are stunning and the stories were really entertaining little glimpses in this magnificent past. What I liked most were the citations read in french with the translation in English, to check the little differences and get the most information from these sources. Thank you for all the effort you put into these video essays !
Thank you for your kind and encouraging message! I know some people don't always appreciate reading translated texts in other languages, so I'm glad you have enjoyed these sequences as well , it's good sometimes to have the original texts ( as translators take so much liberty sometimes..)Thank you I'm glad you appreciate the work :)
Hello Laetitia, happy 2025 to you ! I really enjoy the historical series, and it's been a joy to watch them from the beginning. Wishing you much joy and a creative week , always xxx
Happy New Year to you too Deborah ! Thank you !!I'm glad you have appreciated the different series and are enjoying this one ! Thank you! I wish you a happy weekend !
Thank you so much for this wonderful video, I really needed something lovely. Although I live150 miles from the fires in California it's a reality we all live with. Thanks again for something else to think about.
We are expecting high winds until Tuesday the good news is water tankers are able to fly. So many people have lost everything. It's hard to get your mind around the situation.
Wow❗️These were interestingly extravagant party people of the court with excitingly entertaining ideas. Such marvelous memoirs of the opulence, mayhem and hysteria. I love that you have created a Winter collection of beautifully illustrated digital download printables. This was a most entertaining and delightful video. 👍😍⚜️
Thank you Michelle! I think the party took place on the ground floor so she probaboly didn't climb any staircase, she was probably glad to be back in her field with her cow friends after this unfortunate episode... ;)
I love these videos and your artwork is so beautiful!! I especially loved the man carrying the presents. You are an amazing painter. Jean-George Willie seemed like a nice man. I think it was a bit mean of Marie Antoinette to show her children the toys they couldn't have.
Thank you Francine ! oh yes te diary ofJean-Georges Wille is really nice he was a kind person and was very close from his son who was an artist too , I agree with you I didn't get the lesson Marie-Antoinette wanted to give to her children, at least with our modern eyes it's hard to understand.
Greetings for the New Year, Laetitia....what an exquisite film, a tale from history, your illustrations are exquisite, telling the tales so beautifully. I am captivated. This is a real gem, and your talent in film making, editing and choosing the music is award winning. Kindest.....and a million thanks.
Thank you very much Lorraine ;) I wish you too a very Happy New Year ! ! Glad you like the stories and the illustration oh you are very kind to say that!! :) Your encouragements motivate me a lot ! You are most welcome ♥
I am so enjoying the Versailles Chronicles. And I really like your watercolor artwork, and the new stationary artwork. I cannot download the stationary because we are closing on our new home this week, so my printer is in storage with everything else that I own. The new stationary artwork looks like you painted it with watercolors and gouache. I paint in watercolors and gouache also, but not nearly as good as you. I am a beginner.
