- Gong the Hawkeye, has been one of the main antagonists in the game. Being an enemy programmed to be defeated in a defined mission, players have been curious to test if it was possible to finish it at some initial stage, and to see the consequences of it.
There have been videos demonstrating its defeat in the early missions in Patapon 2 and in its remastered version, but.... Could the same be applied in Patapon 1? The answer is in this video, where I'm going to try to explain and spread this topic thanks to a user on TH-cam.

But, how many times have you killed Dodonga and Zaknel? I have no idea how to get 6 mithril for barsalas
15-20 levels per boss to get all materials, including Ancient/Giant weapons. The most optimal method is to save and load the game from level 5 of the boss to repeat the mission and obtain the desired material.
• Remember, the Mystery Meat cannot be obtained yet; because of that, we must obtain Super Cedar and Dream Meat (Succulent Meat) to compensate the Yaripons Mogyoon.
This seems a bit fake ngl. The yaripons are using the spears that drop the mission that appears 2 missions later.

Does killing Gong affect any of the future missions? I imagine that it doesn't, given that it's not expected behavior.

And sandy paradise's next level is guardian of knell (includes Dokaknel boss)

Question, so you just farmed the first 2 bosses until you got everything you need? When do they drop high materials?
this is a bit late but resources in patapon and 2 are pretty much random, so you save, kill dodonga, no materials? load, kill dodonga, no good materials? load, kill dodonga, oh i got mithril, save, kill dodonga, no materials? ect ect, only difference is with 2 is you dont really need to save and load as you want to kill them to like, level 10 and then use treepons to stagger them like 500 times a mission for rainbows of materials
