Been grinding Pokemon Go as my post-kvk loss therapy, but just thought I would do a yappin video about the marches we used last kvk! Let me know what videos to post next, looking for some ideas
As a Gorgo user, you don't need her if you have double relic Alex. The trades are situationally better on both. Alex does better if you're on offense and dealing with quick combats of cheeseburgering and hit and runs, but gorgo is better when you can just mash in a ball for long fights. Guan may be hitting the bench soon, but Guan/scip is still one of my best marches... so It's a hard choice. Great performance this kvk :D
Additionally, as a garrison, the talent swapping becomes too expensive. I found myself just running Liu/Alex just so I didn't have to spend 10 talent resets a zone for when I wanted to field my Gorgo and Garrison with it. a "open field benefit" of less than 5% isn't worth the 2m+ alliance credits
I've experimented around plenty trying to mix comms, balance marches vs not. I've decided keeping your best gear paired with your biggest damage dealers (joan P, ZL, etc.) is the best play. If you do another artifact KVK, you should be running JP/Ash, not Ash/JP. You get the speed of cavs and the skill damage reductions for ball fights. Keep the best gear on Joan/Ash for cavs, and ZLHL for archer Ash is the 3rd to 2nd highest damage output commander in the game that also has march speed; Joan being the highest.
had to use ash primary bc I didn't have a 3rd set of cav gear and wanted to replace my Boudica, but completely agree with the march speed being better if I had the choice. Good point with the damage marches, hopefully I'll get to the point where all my gearsets are equal though with crits and all but that will take forever

Personally I just run a Garrison talent build on the field and it performs greatly. Usually trades 1:4 or 5
