Just FYI, that truck does not weigh 6900 pounds that is the GVWR when loaded to its max. So you would take that 6900 minus whatever the payload number is on the tire pressure sticker on the door jam and then that would be the curb weight of the truck. Great review though and awesome truck!
Thank you!
Yes of course Matt & I definitely buying this.
Awesome!
The moose look is engaged instantly lol😊
😄
I’d buy but no old man chrome please
Easy fix! Or I should say looks easy. I will be plasti-dipping chrome badges on my new SUV.
The ALL WEATHER mats protect so much better, i have them on my 2023 1500 classic Warlock but i bought YITA motors, thay are about HALF the cost and fit absolutely perfect and give full protection.
I bought odiro brand on Amazon for my truck. Really nice and half of weathertech.
I love it, but I want the chrome and moon roof.
We have to wait for Limited.
@@MattTheCarguythe Laramie has the moon roof and powered running boards in the southwest package for an additional $2600
@@Biracial_panther Good info! Thank you!
Nice video. I am actually looking to get the same in dark red. I am a bit fighting with the dealer on the final price. I will not buy one, lease only. A bit worry about the new I - 6 x 2 Turbos reliability.
I hope you will be able to put a deal together. Of course time will tell the reliability of the i6 turbo but if you are leasing it will be under warranty the whole time in case something happens.
I’ve noticed on the window sticker that these trucks show two batteries. A 700 amp and 200 amp. I really like to know where the smaller battery is placed.
I'm assuming it is for the start stop system most vehicles equiped with start stop have it. I no all jeep products have it under the passenger seat.
If I am not mistaken it is behind driver's side rear seat. You need to pull the top of the seat and look down. It should be there.
I believe it's right behind the main battery. It runs the oil cooler for the turbos for about 15 minutes after the truck is shut off.
Incandescent on a Laramie?? Yikes.
No idea why LEDs are not standard on all trims.
You had better check your insurance on the 2025 Ram!1 I got a quote on a new one and my insurance would go up $400 per year! No crash rating been done on these 2025, so insurance is out of the roof!
What do you have now?
Guessing it depends on the preexisting coverage options. My insurance stayed the same going from a 16 Silverado to a 25 Laramie.
I like they added the sport appearance package so you don’t have to get the 22” wheels
Always good to have choices
Saw this truck in person on the lots near me and i'm just unsure about some decision on the styling. For instance the tail lights. Something is just off about it. Like no thought went into them at all. Just a giant red block of plastic.
I think the new tail lights have a sleeker look then the ones on my 2019, the darker ones on the night package are even better but either way not bad.
Nothing special about the tailights. Good thing is you wont see them while driving 🤣
Holo lights are no go for truck at this price if it was a maverick maybe but this cost 70k
Agreed!
At least you have a great haircut
👋
Still the best? Never was. Over priced pile of shit. Worst truck I ever owned. Never again.
What problems did you have and what year?
My worst truck/SUV was a Yukon Denali (2015). Torque converter fail, Condenser failure, Rain and other sensors failed, Lifter tick started, and finally the transmission started slipping. All by 42K miles. Best trucks I've owned have been Rams BUT my third Ram just now lost an MDS lifter like the GM did although neither manufacturer makes their own lifters. Older GM trucks were good and F150's decent.
I know plenty of people who love them and had no issues. What would you pick instead?
@@Clamjammer i had one new in 05 and in 19. The 05 started leaking transmission fluid less than 3000 miles into its life and had multiple transmission issues until it finally failed and was replaced. The 19 was plagued with electrical issues to where it was re-bought via lemon law after more than a dozen attempts to resolve. Quality has only gotten worse since Fiat took over. They are a joke.
@@cantbsdave Im not a brand guy and have had them all including the Nissans and Toyotas. I use to love the Chevy/GMC trucks but the quality has gone down hill as well. I keep reading that my Duramax wasnt going to make it past 120k so I traded it. On to a Ford now. Have had plenty of Fords during the years but never a pickup. So far so good but only a year out.
The payload is listed on the tire inflation sticker in the doorjamb on lower b pillar. Cargo capacity. It’s there
Thanks for the info. What about max towing? Where can i find it?
@@MattTheCarguy Ram website had the truck information with that particular VIN number, but no longer have that link under owners page. Best to look up the trucks trim, engine, cab, axle ratio, 2 or 4wd, bed size on thier website to determine towing. These 1/2 ton trucks will gross their payload before ever towing the full capacity. Higher the trim less payload with all the options. Adds up quick.
@@Mill72 Thank you! I wish they did what Chevy did and just listed it on the doorjamb.
@@MattTheCarguy Agree.
Can I see the window sticker on this truck please, I wanna order the same package
I cant post photos but all equipment is in description.
