I am trying to adjust my height on a 170mm to 160 on the 27.5+/29 but the locking nut won't budge. I separated the spring seat from the locking nut but it is spinning the entire damper. How do I resolve this?
Great instructions. I have a a 160mm 29er ribbon coil and made the adjustment to 140. However after doing measurement and adjustment on my ribbon coil, it doesn't appear to have change my travel at all. It still measures 160mm. What I am possibly forgetting to do? Thanks.
Are you measuring from the wiper to the crown? The exposed stanchion will be greater than travel - but not 20mm. More like 5mm for the 29" and 15mm for 27.5". Please check again and if something is amiss, call or e-mail tech support (970-241-3518 / info (AT) mrpbike.com).
