When you have a metric system, all based in multiples of 10, which make
calculations so intuitive and easy, you rarely need pen and paper,
what's the point of using the complicated non-intuitive proportions of
    the "imperial system"?
In physics, when you're calculating speeds and accelerations, as far as i
know, both brits and yanks use the same formulas as the rest of us,
V=Vo+at, right? using metres and kilometres instead of feet and miles,
right? I don't think there's formulas for this using feet, inches or
yards, are there? So, if you're using the metric system for the more
complex calculus, why not use it for everything, I think it would
    simplify things for you.
What's the point of bringing this useles complication to the table?
Is this a trap, to keep the more advanced knowledge secret and out of
reach from the less educated people?
Really, what's the point? Can anyone explain?
