It is a mistake when done once, but a choice when repeated. I converted my mistake into a bad choice within months of being warned by my Swami! Though He had forgiven my little lapse of not being careful about how people in society perceive me, I had forgotten the ABC of life - Always Be Careful. Swami ensured that I would never ever forget it again! That’s the painful episode that was sadly necessary for me to learn my lesson.
In His discourse on the occasion of Deepavali in 2002, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba says,
“Man is not a vyashti jivi (individual being) at all. He is samashti jivi (societal being).”
As long as man lives in society, how society sees him is important. In other words, as long as one is ‘dependent’ on society, one needs to appear good. Swami makes it very clear in the opening verse of that same discourse:
Asthiram Jivanam Loke; Asthiram Yavvanam Dhanam.
Asthiram Dhara Putradi; Satyam Kirti Dwayam Sthiram.
(Life in the world is impermanent.Youth and wealth are impermanent.
Wife and children are impermanent. Only the two - TRUTH and REPUTATION are permanent.)
This is what I learned when I took a 'lady' on my motorbike for a second time after being warned against doing so by Swami.

I also learnt one lesson very hard way. I was always trying to find love outside in people but after so many setbacks, mistakes only, after which i turned towards swami realizing that now i will seek love only from bhagwan and yes, Swami gave me so much love. When i was all alone, only he was there with me all the time. He has been with me always. Its all his grace.

I feel that all this show of anger was a *drama* by our *Rama*
He wants "My Boy" to be perfect!
He wanted His boy's character to be as white (pure) as his dress (white)!!
Thus He became your dhobi and was removing the dirt/ stain!!
He was feeling uncomfortable because He knew that dirt if not removed will permanently stain the heart, where He is lovingly seated by you!!
Thus A divine drama of neglect ensued!!
He knew that you have a tender heart because He was in your heart!!
A lesson for all of us on how to conduct ourselves!!
