Yes! When the kids come to class I choose 1 student who is my secret student. I write their name down on a paper, display it, but cover up their name. As I’m teaching I’ll say things like, “My secret student is doing an amazing job” or “My secret student needs to remember to follow rules” etc. At the end of class I only reveal the name of my secret student if they earned their mini eraser. If the secret student did not earn their reward I’ll say something like, “My secret student did not earn the reward today” and I’ll review class rules. The students are left wondering, “Was it me?” This works really well with my intervention students.
Thank you everyone! I’m grateful to have found my passion! 🙌🏼
Love the way you teach! 👏

Can you share more about your star chart and the secret student? I use UFLI and these sound perfect for my small groups.
