Looks like a great chipper, shame there so expensive!
@@Treeboyltd it's a fantastic machine, though not really that expensive in contrast. £6400inc vat with high 360° truck loader discharge spout & front winch. A greenmech cs100 (which I had prior to this) is around £5995 Inc vat. For that £405 difference You are getting
5 more horsepower
20mm more capacity
Remote control winch
truck loader 360° output spout
optibelt red power drive system giving way more torque & reliability compared to other machines.
Bosch battery & Schneider electrics
Skf bearings
European made
3 year warranty from a family owned / run UK firm, who will literally pick up the phone on a Sunday to give advice or help out.
It's built like a brick house, chips far better than the old cs100 too, in nearly 100 hours I've not had to adjust the belts once. In that time with the cs100 it had 5 or 6 sets of belts and countless adjustments.
no matter what anyone says the cs100 isny up to 4" material, this will do it all day long & It's easier to maneuver too due to the chassis design, it's also modular, so if you buy the C90 / C120 (compact) you can buy the "T" off-road towing kit and convert it to a T90 / T120, you can also buy the new TRX Hydraulic track kit and make it a mini tracked chipper 😁. Also with the greenmech the cost of spares is far higher, over £210 plus vat for a set of blades ! Compared to the 125 + vat of the foxwood set and they include bolts & shims too ! I know which id buy the first time round if I had to start again.
What company in the UK did you buy it from and can they get spare parts easily. As I am after the discharge shoot for the Foxwood c90/c120
Do you have any video of this machine chipper hedge trimmings?
No i don't, this being a chipper i wouldn't recommend chipping hedge trimmings as even when you are careful and sheet prior to trimming they almost always get contaminated with chippings, grit or stone & that would damage the chipper blades & anvil. Also hedge trimmings are green waste, typically quite heavy and wet. So tend to clog chippers. Id highly recommend a green waste shredder, it'd be far better suited to the job ! Even with the likes of timberwolf, forst, greenmech & Jensen road tow and tracked roller fed chippers, trimming hedge trimmings is still a no go. Eliet shredders are supposed to be pretty good but haven't actually used one
