    I'm new to fly fishing what size rod and reel would you recommend for snook and red fish

    • @addictivefishing
      @addictivefishing  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jackson .M 8 or 9wt for reds and snook

    • @Sgt6217
      @Sgt6217 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Addictive Fishing I want to get into fly fishing .I like the blue flats series but I was wondering if an 8 weight is overkill for bass? I need something versatile because I do fresh and inshore but I don't wanna catch bass on a telephone pole. I love the show Blair is the man

    • @addictivefishing
      @addictivefishing  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      8 wt should work fine for bass and small saltwater species.

    • @addictivefishing
      @addictivefishing  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Dick's has the 9 wt online - www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12113817&cp=4406646.4413993.4414792.4414801

    • @josephmiller5769
      @josephmiller5769 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      SithSereyPheap1 has absolutely nothing to do with the lures man. Its called high sticking the rod. You will yoke a bait or hard plastic out of a mouth in a minute by doing that.

    A lot of put downs in here but how many of you ever caught even a five or six pound snook on fly ? I guide the ten thous' and its' not common.
