those assist numbers are insane and clearly shows how unselfish and how high Caitlin's court vision IQ is. WNBA really has a gem here.
She does dribble a hellavu lot at times. Dribble everywhere around the court til somebody finally decides to cut
Her assist are high because she have the ball in her hands 85% on possession, which also account for her high turnover ratio, but what people overlook, is her point differential, which is one of the lowest in the league, and that cost them games.

I saw the game. Fever was up by 15 points in the 3rd quarter. For them to lose to Sky by 1 point at the end of the game is crazy. Three things stood out from this game,. 1.That's poor coaching; the coach caused this loss. 2. The rest of the team needs to play "Team Ball" and feed their most accurate shooters the ball. 3. When the opposing team starts getting chippy with the attitudes toward any of their team mates, those same players need to rally in defense of the player being targeted.

And what does "rally" mean? I see numerous people say this nonsense but they never get specific. Do want them to hard foul? Punch? What? I also don't know what the fines are but they aren't making much so any amount will hurt. The problem is that the star players are too important to get thrown out and the less important players don't make enough to afford to miss games/get fined.

I had an event and wasn’t able to watch. Did the coach pull CC by any chance for Chicago to do a 15-0 run and catch up? She likes to do that.
Coaching has to be blamed for this one. CC has only been getting 11 shots per game, while a couple players shoot every time they touch the ball. It's gone on too long. If they don't start running some plays to free CC up for shots, they deserve to lose every game from here on out. She's using her as a passer to feed everyone else when she's the best scorer on the team.

You can't build a team around 1 player doing all of the scoring. You let her lead the offense and find a rhythm finding her teammates while still giving her room to put up 20/30pts. Once that's solid, the defenses will have to spread out and Caitlin will slaughter them at will.

The free throw disparity was enormous and its what cost them the game the whistle inspired that comeback and I saw it coming putting the fever in the penalty early in the quarter this is no different then the NBA with extreme favoritism to one team with the whistle. It’s why i hate the NBA now.
Yeah, when you win by 1 but shot 18 more free throws, that's insane. Reminded me of the Boston vs Pacers games this year. When the Pacers were ahead, Boston shot a ton of free throws. When the Pacers were behind, their free throws were pretty much even.
Chicago kept feeding the post and drawing fouls.

CC not touching the ball in crunch time shows sides is not focused on correct priorities. She is worried about other players' feelings....instead of her superstar. There is no need to waste years to figure out what's obvious. I would have one talk with sides...if no change in direction for team strategies she would be gone. New coach could get rid of dead wood immediately...this is not hard. Don't waste CCs time, don't waste fans time and money.

Because the top half defense with Catlin and Mitchell isn't great. A lot of dribble drives beating the defender inside the paint. She's the best defensive player on the team. Now if the gaurds could play defense she wouldn't have to do that.

From the WNBA games I've watched, there's no defense unless you just count hacking at opposing players. I sense there are two speeds, one for people like CC and a few other notable talented players. The majority of other players look like they're on half speed.

Sides limiting her shots is doing no good, letting nervous Boston take the last shot is no good. Letting Wallace and Wheeler play longer than Hall and Taylor is no good, icing Clark the best player there is no good. Firing SIDES will be good for the team.
I don't know what Sides is doing with this team but they don't set screens well, they don't come off of screens well and they roll the wrong way. The offense is a mess and seems to result in jacking threes from one of the corners. Lastly, their offensive rebounding was non existent. Too bad, there are some great players on the team but Sides is clueless.
Very nice I enjoyed watching this girl play like John Stockton and curry hybrid player court Vision and shooting is better than all then girls combine on the court. 😂

The fever will be hard to beat if CC scores 40 per game. But if CC scores 20-25 with 10 assists, 8-10 boards, 4 or 5 steals, a couple blocks, and the rest of her teammates get theirs, they'll be impossible to beat. Seriously...they'll be better with her scoring less and facilitating more offense than just her scoring. All that being said, the need to set her up a bit more too.

She was incredible the coaching sucked, the refs sucked, it was a crapshow. Reese was allowed to be over aggressive and it took smith out of her game on one side Reese is over the back on every rebound but couldn’t touch her defensively without the refs blowing the whistle. It really was a blown win. Reese is so boring to watch I hate the big game of the WNBA it all fouls and layups and its a real turn off as a basketball fan. It’s like todays WNBA is 1970’s NBA all bigs and the dynamic players barely exist CC22 is gonna change that if allowed then we can get to more skilled style of basketball.

She passes and rebounds better than Curry -but she definitely shoots like him! Shoots way better than Magic Johnson. Undersized compared to LeBron, but stat line sometimes similar. There is no pure shooter that comes to mind in the NBA who also has double digit assists. I do believe all the controversy is pushing her to be overly un-selfish - she should be shooting more. Of course she has to be efficient. She and her teammates are just getting started. Exciting!
