2 years ago my dad was in a coma, and I've turned to this song for help. He manged to come back. Yesterday, he passed away. I found him on the floor of his bedroom. And here I am again...loosing myself in this wonderful song. It hurts. But as long as I am alive - my dad will live.

I miss the old songs😢 they’re more meaningful than ever. Videos were appropriate. They had a sense of purity, honesty and originality.
Als dieses Lied rauskam, hatte ich gerade meinen ersten und bisher einzigen Liebeskummer. Ich habe es zum damaligen Zeitpunkt Stunden über Stunden gehört und es hat mir soooo sehr geholfen! Ein wirklich wunderschöner Song, den man nur verstehen kann, wenn man das, wovon er singt, einmal durchlebt hat.
So siehst aus........mittlerweile verstehe ich ihn, weil ich genau dass gerade durchmache. Als es rauskamm fand ich das Lied einfach nur schön, aber jetzt verstehe ich es und ich höre es auf dauerschleife.
Einfach eines der besten Lieder zum nachdenken und weinen.
Dieser Song ist einfach einzigartig. Wir sollten jede Sekunde dankbar sein, die wir mit unseren liebsten haben. Die Zeit läuft leider so schnell ab und wir glauben immer Zeit über zu haben bis der Tag X kommt und uns den Boden unter den Füßen wegzieht. Danke Hurts, dass eure Musik mir in so unendlich vielen schweren Zeiten beigestanden hat. Theo Hutchcraft hat eine so unfassbare einzigartige und tolle Stimme, schade dass die beiden als Band "nur" mit 2 Hits durchgestartet sind.

This is so beautiful, simply breathtaking. I'm actually proud of myself that I know how to appreciate songs like this one, songs that are filled with such emotions and powerful messages. Not all people know how to appreciate these songs.
I played this at my gorgeous husband Andy's funeral in August 2020 as it was one of our songs. It still breaks my heart and brings me comfort in equal measure. We used to listen to Hurts on a Saturday night and dance round the living room together. Today is the 12th anniversary of us meeting and I miss him terribly so I thought I'd listen to some of our favourite songs 💛💛💛
