Your list includes many of my own; especially “Alien”, “Psycho” and “ Get Out”. Another of my favorites is the 1982 version of “The Thing”, somewhat controversial today for its notable lack of female actors (with the exception of Adrienne Barbeau as the voice of a computer chess game)…but undeniably great in its own right.
Why didn't I add this film in!? I genuinely love The Thing, the remake is not as good even though it has Mary Elizabeth Winstead... the 80s Thing is just brilliant. I love the animatronics, I love how it was filmed, I love how intense it was and the two faced Thing is AWESOME. Good choice
Great video as ever with some great film choices. I’d recommend the Audition if not seen it. A slow burn creepy horror by Takeshi Miike. Also would love to know your thoughts on Smile, one the best horrors of recent years in my opinion. Psychologically messed me up. Most Japanese/korean horrors I’d recommend highly to be fair.
I enjoyed smile, but what I loved the most was their epic marketing campaign, it was up there with the Blair witch marketing!! Very excited for Smile part 2. I've heard about the Audtion, I will 100% watch, thank you so much for this recommendation. ❤️ thank you as always for watching and becoming a Patreon!!! 😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi, I collect horror films and have well over 1000 to date. I am really hard pushed to chose favourites because as you say, there are so many sub genres to chose from and it's really hard to compare them all. My go to movies are always going to be the old Hammer films from the late 60s and 70s. I have quite an obsession with slasher films, no matter how cheesy or dodgy they may be I will collect them. I enjoyed your video and by the way you look great with or without make up. Thanks for the upload.
As someone who is serious on collecting horror movies, I appreciate your view so much! There are so so many that I adore, I also love thrillers and that's an entirely new video worth of content too! I'd love to see your collection, do you collect props and the like too? Thank you for saying about the makeup too x
@@sarahsinister Thanks, I also collect thrillers, I have quite a large collection of those too. I buy some DVD's but most of my collection are downloaded from the internet. I do try to always get the best quality copies that are available. I think it would be a good idea to do a video on your favourite thrillers in this format but I was thinking a video on horror TV series would also be a good idea. I have a collection of horror tv series but it's nowhere near as extensive as my films. I don't really collect props etc., that sounds a bit expensive! I look forward to your next video, cheers.
The scariest movie I’ve ever seen, mainly because it could legitimately happen, is a little known movie called Strangeland. It was written, directed and stared the lead singer of the 80s metal band Twisted Sister Dee Snider.
@ I really like it a lot. The writer/director/star Dee was kind of a laughingstock in the late 80s with his band. He wasn’t taken seriously and I was a little trepidatious when the movie came out. It literally scared me because I thought of my daughters. Kinda vague and creepy what I just said but long story short (too late 🤣) yes highly recommend
Horror films are the best! I like edge-of-your-seat movies, actually. I can watch them during the day or at night, in the light or in the dark, it doesn't matter. As long as it's fun to watch. One horror movie I have is Candyman. I started liking the horror genre in 2020. I feel that the more grim the better!
Have you seen the terrifier, you can't get more grim than that in my opinion!!! Thank you so much for watching. I also adore watching horror movies at any time of the day, any day of the week
If I can do a whole video on horror films with horror icons then I will. Chucky (child's play), halloween, NOES, IT etc are their own category for me as they are really recognisable horror and stand in their own league. Out of all them though, I agree with you, Halloween wins.
Thank you lovely, its a big reason I take so long to get these videos out, so now I've defeated this beast, I think filming will become easier! Thank you xx Thank you for watching
I love it when you upload. And also love horror films! 😊
Awww! Thank you so much. More frequent videos on the way. What's your favourite horror film??
Can't beat Halloween for me!

@davidmarsh9897 thank you! I'll do both! Props are very expensive for sure 🤣 downloading is the way to go and saves a LOT of space!!

Great video, you look fab and for me the silence of the lambs is the best horror for me, I'd also add the shining and the thing (1982)
Great choices, you know my feelings on SOTL 🤐 I sense you like suspense films... films that don't give it all away immediately and keep you hooked?
@sarahsinister yes I unfortunately do know your thoughts on silence of the lambs... and yes I absolutely do love those type of films!

@@sarahsinister I've never seen the terrifier, but I'll be sure to.
@rogerbarrett1979 prepare yourself... there's 2 of them on Amazon, there's a 3rd coming out end of this Year too!
Alien, The exorcist ,The Texas chainsaw massacre, The omen, The hills have eyes and Helloween
That scene in the hills have eyes... you know the one... I cannot watch it! So horrific. Wrong turn might be a film for you too??
Looking forward too this hope your ok. ❤
Thank you so much Paul!! I'm good, it's very hot though isn't it?! How are you?
@@sarahsinister Good. I'm ok sweetie. Yep! 😝 Better than the ☔ though!
Im a fan of the cold honestly 😂 blankets and coffee, not this heat! @paulkendall2624
@@sarahsinister fair enough. ♥️ A black coffee! Looking forward too your video. How are you? And take care. X
