Six pence per issue! Wow it must have been an upmarket periodical for its time, that quite expensive.
About £1.50 in today's money.
@@LibraryofWhispersASMR surely more than that, a weeks wage was about 10 shillings or more in those days? So quite a luxury or am I looking through rose tinted specs? 😂
