    i would like to see you tackle down samples next, though maybe that should be explained more later on? your choice

      Samples are great. Especially for drums. Its either next or after the next one.

    yeah, no, this is missing a few things that make Wavetracker unique.
    Here's a pro tip: instrument envelopes can apply to any waveform if you do this: use the V command in the effects column to change what waveform a channel is using, then just add an instrument that has a volume envelope or another effect envelope, then that instrument will work on every waveform without having to create a new instrument for each.

      Thats why its called basics. What you are describing isnt useful to someone learning it and would only confuse them. You wouldnt tell a beginner driver how to drift. Thats what advanced courses are for and those are only really planned once most of the basics are done. For now i wont go into details like that at all. The best way to manage instruments when starting out is to have one instrument per purpose. It keeps naming and managing all more easy. Once you dont think about that anymore then you can start controlling your instruments via the fx row and do some cross instrument modulations etc. For starting out thats way too much information though.
