not all of them, the fire cores overshadow the fire swappers, bumbleblast overshadow the life skylanders, the air cores overshadow free ranger, roller brawl the only good undead core, same with wind up the only good tech core (in my opinion) and the earth swap force skylanders having the weakest skylanders, the life swappers aren't that good either, punk shock being better than riptide.
The reason people say she's underrated is because they go with her bottom path and not the top path just because they want that increased damage on her claw swipes, understandable but her other two attacks on her bottom path are garbage but her other two attacks on her top path are so much better, you get an attack where you become a deadly beyblade and a added bonus move around while twirling, her other attack isn't a new attack but increases knockback on her bullrush
Zoo lou is in my opinion the best in the life class for just pure damage output and damage storage he can build up a burst of damage so big he can oneshot gear golems and sometimes chunks of boss health bars in imaginators Really quickly hes great
I haven’t played with some of them enough to do a ranking, so i’ll just do a top 5: 5. Countdown - he’s mainly here because he is so fun to use, but he’s also pretty good 4. Dune Bug - his second ability is op 3. Scorp - use all his attacks and he does so much over time damage 2. Scratch - her healing is so op 1. Bumble Blast - in my top 5 favorites
I agree with Dune bug, it's actually an amazing figure because it requires alot of skills to get used to it, but I honestly don't hate the figure instead I hate how he's programed in Trap Team in the Wii version (Dolphin Emulator), everytime I use him the game will randomly crash, especially if I use the ball to roll enemies and I got nearly 6 In-game crashes when I maxed him out to level 20, not kidding,
Have you given him the golden upgrade? Because I’ve experienced lag when using him in a genuine Wii u and the IOS version with that upgrade. I think it’s just a bit too much for the game to handle somehow
My favourite is definitely star strike, she has a solid moveset and is satisfying to use. Looking forward to seeing how you rank them because I don't have a lot of them.

Why does everybody hate Slobber Tooth, who is personally my favorite Skylander of all time. He's a turtle dinosaur crocodile thing that just looks awsome to me and his attacks, while short ranged, have more utility than Bash's tail swipe attack.

Really love Pop Thorn's switchable wide auto range and homing projectiles. Also you call Slobbertooth "Walmart Bash", but I refer to Scorp as "Kirkland Bash", or something better. Scorp has a ranged move, and also a better rolling attack. It not only still knocks away regular sized enemies, but it's faster too

I think wind up should be higher, yes you may be using the wind up attack all the time and punches but you just gotta remember what attacks you got, so I'd say that's a you problem right there. For countdown I would rank him lower than wind up since I feel like his attacks feel so weak and the only attack I really like out of him is his bomb head chucking attack

Ok first of all I accept your opinion. But for me it kinda sounds like you are just overwhelmed by the amount of attacks from Wind Up (changing path might help) and you don't see his power against slow, big enemy's. Golem's are actually not a big problem because you can just walk around them keep attacking and they will never hit you (exept the air golem who is a trouble for every melee skylander). Overall I just think he's the most perfect Skylander: fast, strong and unique. I hope you can get more a feel from him and if not it's OK. And why you don't go for the other path on Roller Brawl? The bonus crit is on your path probably the only useful thing, while the other path gives bonus armor and the most important thing a insane headbutt dash making her insanely fast. Otherwise I agree with your list.
that's the problem people are having with roller brawl is how they go for the siren skater path just for that one upgrade to increase damage on her claws, not using her other attacks and being a one trick pony. Oh and don't forget that roller brawl on her shadow skater path has an attack where she becomes a deadly beyblade and a added bonus can move while twirling, and do extra knockback with her headbutts

Slobber Tooth I actually like… in future games. In swap force he’s lack luster but in future games he’s just stupid. Imagine being able to eat enemies 3 times your size, and that’s slobber tooth in trap team (the eye dragon first seen in the golden temple for example) so yeah, final thoughts, broken in future games, lackluster in swap force

A core is what we call the Skylanders that are from a game that arnt the main gimmick. So for Skylanders Swap Force, the Swappers are the main Skylanders, and all others are cores. Another example is for Skylanders Giants, the Giants are the main gimmick, and all the other newly introduced Skylanders are the cores:) hope this helped

unoriginal attacks, terrible damage, no ranged what so ever. the only good move he has is the tail bash but even then you have to spam it to do damage
