Another absolute masterpiece of a GT car by Ferrari. This brand is on a different level. The style of the entire car is superb. Flavio Manzoni is just a design genious!
I think this design will be considered timeless in about 10 years. The real problem with this is the interior UI. Same issue as the SF90 where it's finnicky to the point of being rage inducing. Physical buttons on steering wheels all day every day.
My 2C on haptics and screens. It’s gone too far. Putting heat A/C, seat controls in a menu is daft and having steering controls that can be touched and activated by mistake is not good. I keep hoping the next new Ferrari will return to more physical buttons, so there’s a few reasons why I’m keeping my F12. F12 is smaller, lighter, 730hp (only), prettier and easier to operate, and in auto wet mode, it does the GT role perfectly, but it can be an animal in race/manual if you want. F12 also sounds great!
Ferrari 12Cilindri, The V12 engine with dry sump and 65 degrees between the cylinder banks produces 830 horsepower at 9,250 r/min and 678 newton meters at 7,250 r/min. Horsepower is 30 more than in the 812 Superfast, but the maximum torque is 40 newton meters lower. The power in relation to the engine volume is 128 horsepower per liter. 0-100 km/h goes in 2.9 seconds, that is, the same figure as the official one for the 812 Superfast - despite the weight reduction and that the eight-speed dual-clutch box is said to shift 30 percent faster than the seven-speed in its predecessor. The Spider version needs an additional 0.05 seconds to reach 100 km/h. The top speed is stated at over 340 km/h. 0-200 km/h takes less than 7.9 seconds (Spider 8.2 s), while braking from 100 to 0 km/h takes only 31.4 meters. From 200 km/h to a standstill, a 122 meter long braking distance is needed.
the 'braking by wire' was mentioned elsewhere ... and it would be good to know more detail on that. Throttle, lights, cruise can all be 'by wire' - because if they really went wrong... you can BRAKE the car and turn it off. I would want to know EXACTLY how some Italians have hooked my brake pedal, with the pads that I need, to stop the phucking car.... and that question will be even more important 20 years later, when it gets sold at auction. Current "by wire" retains the hydraulic system - so that when the little computer and those pesky wires/software/signals FAIL, the cylinder and fluid system that compresses the pad, is still available to the foot (albeit, some micro seconds late)
All good - there’s a bypass valve that opens if the electronic booster fails. You can read more about it and watch a video here: www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/car-technology/a34224683/how-brake-by-wire-works-safety/
I've never met anyone that likes those stupid haptic buttons. The fact that they need 'lighting up', before you can see them, is doubly ridiculous. It's all well and good Ferrari saying, "owners get used to them", but when you have several cars - each entirely different - you need things to be far more obvious. You certainly don't need to be distracted, staring at the steering wheel.
I’m a long term EV driver and ex petrol head. Would never buy another ICE car tbh, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t see a space for these cars too. The distance they do per year and qty sold won’t make a real difference to anything..
Re-Hash for triple the price. Odd assembly from heritage parts bin. Can be smoked daily. After decades of dodici cylindri (twelve cylinders), Ferrari is happy to announce it as a novelty spelled out: 'DODICI CYLINDRI' but it'll cost ya!!!!!!!!!!! It will be as rare as the fool who buys it! Reminds me of the the unattractive melangue of styling cues in the new generation Nissan Z with the vain attempt to make it all come together with a silver 'Katana' blade, but this time it is the 'raccoon' piano black front band and other hit and miss attempts at novelty that are supposed to draw remarks (not necessarily positive) to obscure, an otherwise, unremarkable body design. Both 'Dodici Cilindri' and 'Z' are destined to be made rare by poor sales.
@fragu123 clearly everyone here is pro lower speed limit snowflakes. Mate with that car on PS4S tyres, if you can't stop whinging about rain, you don't deserve to be reviewing cars. Hence Tiff Needell at his age is still better than whatever stupid version of Top Gear there is now. Grow a pair and learn some skills, not Paul... YOU
I happen to know all of them got many cars including G Wagons bogged in sand dunes, so yeah they all need to learn to drive. With that car and those PS4S tyres, if you're that scared of rain, you don't deserve to be reviewing cars. ie Tiff Needell is still much better than any new Top Gear
With the advance of EVs, specially Chinese EVs that offer design and performance at a 10 to 20% price of a Ferrari, one can only wonder how long Ferrari can exist.. My guess is they are on borrowed time if their business model doesnt change.

Wow Paul, your reviews are really stepping up. 😅 From Kia and Hyundai etc to Ferrari.
That is a stunning looking car, even in gold!
Need more V12's. Great video!
I'm so happy to see a review on car with a real engine..V12..
Very practical for a supercar
I would rather watch this than Middle East news.😅
Same . I'm not scared lol I jst wanna see some cars thts all 😂
Naturally Aspirated V12 RWD Great sounding exhaust What more could you ask for. Awesome mate.
Excellent review. Special car. Ferrari are on fire. Roma, 296 and now il Dodici Cilindri
Ammazza 😮
My first 12 cylinder Ferrari was a F512TR and ever since I am in love with those wonderful engines....😊
Daytona vibes 💛💛💛
Holy crap, this test car already has almost 14,000kms on it
Crazy, isn’t it! The others had high km too.
Gorgeous. A definite homage to the Daytona.
I really didn't like this on first look, but it keeps getting better and better with every video. Would love to see it in the metal!
Nice camera positions.❤

I actually like how it looks! It feels smart and sporty at the same time.
The price is obviously killer...
What a car 😊 . Modern classic

I love that drive review of 2026 Ferrari 12Cilindri ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
A real masterpice from Ferrari and Maranello.
Stunning, timeless, intriguing and mouth watering. Me want.
Nice watch paul it looks beautiful
I also noticed that Yacht-Master. Exquisite.
Looks wild
Can't wait to hear it with a @Gintani system on it!!!!!!

Love the whole damn thing 😊
Nice watch!
Watching these types of cars disappear makes me hate emission laws even more
Sub on a nato, thats the true masterpiece

I think it looks fantastic
Fantastically beautiful 🤩
Nice SUB🎉
It've grown on me reaaaaly fast
Why is it that every other car co says they can’t do V12s any more for emissions reasons yet Ferrari is popping them out just fine?
This one has that Carrera GT exhaust pitch and sound.
Great engine, but not enough design for 12 cilindri
Ferrari used to make timeless designs, but this one just doesn't
Ferrari 12 Cylinder
How many more episodes will there be about the same model? During this time you can create several more models.
I would have gone for it but the reverse camera isn’t quite good enough
No durometer test? :)
I don’t particularly like the look personally for me.
Order a Hyundai instead
812 looks way better.
Yep, fugly is a weird that immediately during to mind
I guess a big ugly SUV is more your style?
@@craigdavid6668yes, 812 SF looks so much better, sounds so much better.
I'll take an F8 over this any day.
I'm not really a huge fan of Ferrari's but this looks amazing, looks just like a modern version of a Daytona.
I think the sound is a little strange for a v12 and completly muted from outside (tricky Ferrari!)
Whoever signed off on this design and colour needs to see an optometrist.
Does this have 12 cylinders?
Great review Paul, you should post more video of your track driving experience. I want to see the lap with the ferrari test driver.
Stunning car and unlike other bozos you haven’t covered the engine noise on this video with your voice or shitty music.
Kudos
It sounds fantastic, but i seems slow...
Beautiful, sexy, stunning. Ferrari at its best.
You mean on the right side of the road 😂
F12tdf still the king of batsh&t crazy Ferraris
Bellisimo, but the front end looks like the 1993 Corvette
Is it really a gran tourer?
Yep
Where's all the EV fanboys now?
Searching for their gender
Why would they be on a V12 Ferrari review?
I’m a long term EV driver and ex petrol head. Would never buy another ICE car tbh, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t see a space for these cars too. The distance they do per year and qty sold won’t make a real difference to anything..
$800k plus options plus OTR costs = $1 million ++
Pass.
It's no LCF.
looks like a nissan z
Does not have that Ferrari flair.
Not a fan of the colour
It looks more Japanese than Italian
Seems Vanquish is a better choice for a V12 in terms of appearance IMO. This however, should have a better handling.
And lighter. I like the design it is derivative but not evolutionary and predictable like the Aston Mercedes.
Did you put the rolex on your right wrist just be obnoxious? Literally no other reason for it.
Obnoxious? What is wrong with wearing a Rolex and showing it off to the world?
@@pete5044 I have exactly the same one, I certainly wouldn’t flash it off front and centre when like a muppet when I am there to review a car
@@PLAYER2035I wouldn’t even have noticed it, unless I saw your comment. Such a non-issue.
@@PLAYER2035 I bet you don’t have one, you probably still live with your mum
Is it a Submariner?
F12 looks better, sounds better and has arguably a better interior.
The old Mercedes v12 sounds better
They really don’t bothered coming up with a name. Might be worse. Like Ferrari four wheels, or two doors
Reminds me of the new Toyota Supra a very nice design I must say
The front end looks like the old rover V8 SD1!. Fugly.
What a hideous looking Ferrari especially from the rear. Did Ferrari use BMW designers??
You're in Italy, driving a car presumably provided by Ferrari and you couldn't be arsed to pronounce 2 words correctly.

I clicked thinking it was a Nissan
Ugly. Looks like a Hyundai EV.
Probably one of the worst looking Ferrari design ever, even a 550 Maranello still looks better than this one after almost 30 years.
Looks like a corvette
Ferrari has gotten too conservative. Quite doll looking & can be blown off the road by a 911 turbo S.
Ferrari has the SF90 and 296, both would absolutely destroy the 911 turbo S. So what's your point
All the carrying on about the rain, it's not even that wet mate? The wipers don't even need to be on. Maybe learn now to drive properly?
lol. Thanks champ, will take your advice on board.
...not everyone is as capable as you are, Steve....😂😂😂

They sell on looks alone, like woman ?😅
Chinese cant make naturally aspirated V12
China only make small headlights. They cant make large headlights
Lots wrong with your comment. But if you believe that customers are cross shopping soulless Chinese EVs with V12 Ferraris you couldn't be more wrong.
Build quality enters chat. What are you on about???
