I saw this movie back in the 90's , I was 23 years old then . I give it a thumbs up, since It's from my time Era. I miss the 80's and 90's .
not as good as MEGABOTS vrs GLADIATOR MECHS.. th-cam.com/video/Hy6493WRjbo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6LL560RT1MX7NBmv
Many who commented most likely didnt watched this in the 90's. For us its good enough for entertainment in those times.
Wow this movie is garbage but it's actually pretty good compared to Disney Star Wars Ep. 7 The Shit Awakens, Ep. 8 The Last Defecation and Ep.9 The Rise of Turdwalker.
This was the tail end of Empire Pictures' robot mechs trilogy.Thank you for uploading this near classic. Some of the finest stop motion ever, rivaling the great Ray Harryhausen. The other 2 were ROBOT JOX and CRASH AND BURN.
I actually just saw Crash & Burn on here. It’s alright, not as good as this imo but not bad by any means.
This movie helped cement my enjoyment of both giant robots and stop-motion animation.
One of my earliest childhood memories was watching this movie with my dad on a small crt tv. This very well could have been the first movie I've ever seen.
Guys like Charles Band and Albert Pyun don’t get half the amount of praise they deserve. Alert Pyun in my eyes strove towards making the greatest cyborg movie ever made and Charles Band knew that there was fans for his dreams in that came out in the form of movies
This and Robot Jox are as close to a Battletech movie we are likely to ever get. I enjoyed these when they came out and they still provide amusement.
I love it! Been too long so nce there was a real robot movie 🎥.
This and the 1989 move Robot Jox. They need to make a MechWarrior Movie.
MechWarrior Movie for Kickstarter. We collect a bunch of money and when some sum came together, we ask the guy who made the Astartes, to give us a Battletech 120 minutes film!
Deal?
@@GriggsC123 Let's meet half way, make a movie like Pacific Rim, live action with top notch CGI. I have no idea why the Battletech universe not being resurrected today. We have the tech to make it look good, the rights of it can be a problem I guess, but I am sure there is the amount of USD that could convince somebody to "sort it out". Also, the amount of stories it can be started off is limitless. People love to see monumental battles with huge mekas and where else would you find better mechs than Battletech? Seriously I don't understand.
@@GriggsC123 We're in luck, the Ghana military has some proto-Mechs and Battle Armor already in service. There's vids here on YT of them on parade. We could probably cut a deal with the Ghana military to fund their R&D department with a few thousand bucks in exchange for letting us use the 'Mechs we actually build. Then we shoot an actual live-action 'Mech movie and then use the 'Mechs to become warlords. Everybody wins!
this movie is fkn awesome the only thing that could make it better is if they lowered the budget a bit more maybe from $100 to $75
Full Moon , Thanks for keeping the VCR tracking in!
Still better than Star Wars 7 8 and 9 combined.
@@seankane8628 With Robot Jox still topping it while Robot Wars followed by Crash & Burn squeeze in just above 7-9
I've gotta say that the music to this in the opening scene is epic. David Arkenstone we really appreciate your music.
Exactly the kind of movie i need with Friends and a few nice cold beer ^^
Some films are good. Some films are bad and some films are so bad they're good... but this defies all of the previous.
I grew up with this movie I don't know how many times I rented it
. Apparently you didn't rent it enough, Blockbuster went out of business!
They dont make em like this anymore......and with good reason.
And to think this movie came out to an audience who grew up with Macross/Robotech.
Oh what a VF-1 Valkyrie could do to these robots. 🤣
Oh, so _this_ is where Dr. Mobius got the idea for his robo-scorpions?
I saw this movie back when it was new-ish, It's not bad in it's own B- way. Certainly better than the shit that they make now.
That was surprisingly good! Thank you for uploading
I was so excited to see this movie after watching Robot Jox... then i cried
I’d been looking for this glorious dumpster fire of a film in all its glory! Nice upload 👍
Wow havent seen this movie since I was 8 years old just after this movie came to VHS in the 90s. Good times.
This movie is so Goddamned awful that it’s almost awesome lol😂
Still reminding me of battletech

Why take a normal commercial flight when you can take a Robo Scorpion!!!
Never seen this before....Hey for '93 it ain't that bad, thanks for posting.
Ohh ... I loved the movies as a kid so mutch . 🤩
He said, sweater puppies. LOL 15:45 Good times.
I never would have expected House Davion to host any Kuritans.
Kuritan C-bills spend just like any others, and Davion knows that House Kurita has a special soft spot for Heavies and Assaults in particular. I have a feeling whatever they were trying to sell Kurita was basically a Medium marketed as a Heavy. Knowing Davion, if they did actually put something on the market you'd expect it to be at least a competitive Heavy if not an Assault. They field Atlases for "scouting" ffs.
But this was clearly a Davion scam. "Eh... about half the size." You saw the Kuritan general's face, right? The Noble and Longstanding House Kurita's honor was clearly insulted, so there was no choice but to do whatever necessary to restore honor in such a situation. Kurita did nothing wrong! Davion was just trolling them. If Kurita refuses to buy Davion's subpar Medium-marketed-as-a-Heavy, Davion wins a very favorable trade agreement. If Kurita's honor is tainted and they waste a bunch of time and money seeing the sights and playing nice for a day or so before returning home with nothing, Davion wins.
If Kurita instead commandeers the only actual Assault the Davions have on station and tries to make off with it as recompense for the terrible spectacle of insult Davion orchestrated... well, it's too bad the Kuritans didn't know about the mint-condition Atlas conveniently stored away in the basement. A Davion double-double-cross, no doubt, those cowardly dogs. Normally they're quick (-er than an Atlas) to show off their Atlases. That they would hide one underground in a historical school is shameful to say the very least, and to hide it at all is cowardly. This is why it's important to always bring a Beagle probe even on diplomatic missions.... Can't trust a Davion dog.
This is now my headcanon for this movie.
FWIW... Wareware wa Kurita-sama no samurai de gozaimasu. So I might have a bit of a bias... But still, those Davions are a bunch of low-down dirty dogs!
m(_ _)m
For a second i thought this was just a bunch of old command and conquer cut-scenes, or at least the ones that were rejected as being too cheesy.
Thanks for the upload mate!
“Request denied! And stop acting like a weak sister!”
My new line!
In the 90's, there was a "mom & pop" video store across the street from a job I was at for 4 years.
They had a '5 movies for 5 days for 5 dollars'-special on their older and eclectic stuff.
This was one of those movies I "binged" on.
I was randomly jumping around and ended up here: 14:44. That's all I needed to see. LOL
My next-door neighbor worked on this, and Robojocks. Ozdog is a wild guy but very rad. Wish he still had parts of the miniatures used for robojocks. So cool. I'm not saying this movie is great, but i do find it enjoyable.
I missed this movie, unusual now from when i first seen this movie. This is probably where it began for me with the robot 🤖 movies. Excellent 👌👍.
Made by the same studio that did Robot Jox and a s*** load of other cult films
Last time I watch this movies it was in VHS and not in the best quality.
Not a one that you will watch again and again but fun enough to get the 90's experience.
I remember seeing this after Robot Jox. Loved both of them!
This is what Ray Harryhausen did, stop motion animation only he used clay sculptures!
The modern version is Robot Wars.
"Robot Wars" is the very, good Sci-Fiction/Adventure/Action movie that is in outstanding performance at best!--Good Job in working performance . Thumbs-Ups!!

Like many others I'm sure...wondering why this childhood memory showed back up...
Matsumoto death in Robot Jox was a cover-up I say. He returned as Wa-Lee...
Wow what a blast from my past. I thought about this movie from time
To time.
Pacific Rim really smashed out the memories of this one
Can’t wait for last star fighter remake that’s rumoured
scary to think how far we came with vfx and cinema these days.i praise the groundbreakers of our era.
i love an old movie, the time that Ai was not invented and special effects were not as developed as they are today😊but still good actors
I'd disagree about the actors, but you know we all have our opionions. We all remember those times - A whole Genre of really bad Sci-Fi movies and TV shows, like Lost in Space, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Land of The Lost, Batman, Plan 9 From Outer Space, Buckeroo Bonzai, All the Godzilla, Rhodan and Mothra Movies (really the worst of the worst!) but as young kids they were great ways to kill a Saturday afternoon when Mom kicked us out of the house!! The only TV show that stood out for being excellent was Star Trek. Good actors, plots portraying today's current morality issues in the future settings and way ahead of its time.
If you are from the US, you can't be more ignorant.
The "AI" dates back to the 50s, and since the 2010s there has been so much hype about "AI" that it has become meaningless.😂
I remember CRASH AND BURN and Robot JOX. I enjoyed those. I think this may have been from the same people? don't quote me. This is the least of them for sure!
This movie is really MST3K material!
Closes we ever got to a BattleTech Film adaption! The Factions give of a vibe of those found in the Inner Sphere in the in-universe setting, North Hemi is the Lyran Commonwealth, Centros are Capellan Confederation, the Eastern Alliance is the Draconis Combine. Not a great movie but it was a fun romp despite it flaws. Full Moon made some great B-movies and did great production work and world building despite having a low Budget.
Its interesting a movie like this or even Robot Jox could be made but not a battletech movie.
not enough in budget, with trademarks, rights...even the actors caught wind of it and wanted to renegotiate their deal..it fell thru... but we got PACIFIC RIM...
Man that was cheese with a side order of more cheese , that drake guy throwing his head about to make his hair flick was hilarious
He rocks up , insults the girl acts like a total dick and the other girl gives it " oh youve got it bad " now call me cynical but in the real world if i did that to a girl after driving a big robot scorpion i think my testicles would be hoofed somewhere over my adams apple with a hearty expletive from the girl , i mean there bugger all likeable about the drake guy , even when he tells his gaffer to look in his eyes and a wee bit of jobby treekles down his leg im thinking " here you flicky hair hows about i tell you to piss off "
An amazing film. It got made. That’s amazing.
The most important Americana film you've never seen (or even heard of)

"It's one Singh" - this movie has gotten off to a cracking start!

We need a woke review of this robot movie to see how many micro aggressions are in it and how racist it is. Lmao
Thanks 🙂 I enjoyed that.
Omg glad to find this movie again after seeing this on TV.
I love how stumpys grandfather built the robot 1
58:40 "peekaboo, i kill you" ahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaa this is probably the best one liner any man can say to a women XD (im joking mind) seriously though this film is a corny sci fi but typical of the early 90's however this for me was the best one liner in the film damn that was hilarious.
I have been saying this for YEARS, and nobody believed me when I told them I got it off a mech warrior style movie.
Ladies please wear your safety helmets on the back of your heads so its doesn't mess up your hair too much, thank you.
Loved this Movie.!!
Boy, for a movie called _Robot_ Wars it sure doesn't have a lot of robots, eh?
Still, I'd rather watch this than today's Hollywood garbage.
The coffee budget was bigger than the production budget, and the writing was horrific, but a great example of the B-grade Sci-FI flick genre
robo jox was king

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN
Fantastic Sci-Fi movie!
Starring Kirk Douglas
Martin Sheen
Awesome movie! the only thing it is missing is Richard Grieco and Lorenzo Lamas starring in it.
I remember seeing this so long ago, I almost forgot about it.

Not a bad movie 🍿🎥🍿 🎥
i had that scorpion toy as a kido haha
Ha… I remember watching this late at night decades ago, and thinking how both cool and kind of cheesy it was and that was way back in the early 90’s lol
He asks, "What would John Wayne do?", but doesn't know who Ralph Kramden is.
from a film about a battle between robots, now in 2024. The Soviet Union created a vehicle shaped like a robot bear, and a plane shaped like an iron bird. Finally it was also created in the future to be used during battles and wars
Its Full Moon Productions..Ive got a complation of a 12-15 movies they produced..Some are better than others..there are lots of great horror and scfi they did..Puppet Master,Head of The Family,Evil Bong and countless others ..Havent seen this one .Thanks for the upload.
I got the sense that scenes were cut from this movie, leaving a few glaring holes that made what was left incomprehensible.
My sympathies to the cast, they were contractually obligated to spew that dialogue.
i do love these movies
Very convincing. Not fake or nerdy at all...😎
Still better than any Disney StarWars film
Lol, the 80s and 90s. The age of good bad movies. If this movie had had a few GOOD actors it would have been another Terminator, another Alien, another Robocop.
At least it's entertaining to watch the effects. Much more than all the modern "CGI CARTOONS" Hollywood is producing.
*can,t it be a movie about robots fighting robots ,made by robots and watched by robots?....!
There is potential for good movie if a decent enough writer was willing to filter out the trash.
Super! Thank you very much!

They got the increase in BMI right - or is that just the aspect ratio?
Makes me think of what-ifs if the old "Super Sentai" series used stop motion on the Megazords.
Actually not too bad if you ever watched any of the Saturday morning live actions from back in the day .
Hey mate, thanks for uploading this, I remember seeing the trailer for this movie on TH-cam when I was 9. I finally get to see it after all these years thanks so much.
