- Drew is captivated by Hesleyside Hall, a Northumbrian country house full of potential salvaging gold. But will its owners prove a match for the canny salvager?
Drew Pritchard, the owner of one of the UK's largest decorative salvage yards, is always on the lookout for new items to replenish his stock, and he has no qualms about scouring the countryside for them. This series follows Drew as he searches for old and lost pieces of history throughout the world, including some opulent estates. But locating them is only half the battle; Drew must persuade the owner of each object to sell it to him for a good price, and then it's off to the scrap yard, where his team restores it to its former glory before selling it for profit.

You get so much from watching Drew and T in action. You get to see bits of beautiful countryside. You get into landed gentry country homes with the history attached. Plus you get to see beautiful antiques and their restoration. Plus Enzo!! What more could you ask for ?
Drew is right when he says that not everyone that owns a country house is rich. Often country homes are inherited and require a lot of money to upkeep. The owners are doing the logical thing by opening it up for events and accommodation. It's sad when heritage homes go into disrepair, it happens too often.
I realize it's pretty off topic but do anyone know of a good site to stream newly released movies online ?

I really enjoyed Drew doing the joke-cracking when they got to the Baskerville Hotel!
Hilary has a real artistic eye as she sets up the photos. The black & red chairs were angled just right to show off their arms/backs. Kudos!

I like Drew and T, Drew doesn't try to rip people off and he doesn't whine like the American Picker guys and the Pawn Stars guys, like "I gotta get it framed and it'll sit here for years" etc. And Mike's voice from American Pickers is like nails on a chalkboard to me.
I'm addicted to watching Drew but they aren't coming out quick enough for me on you tube lol

I hope Drew appreciates what a wonderful, supportive wife he has and his dog is adorable! Next time I am in London I will be sure to make an appointment to see his store! I am sure I will manage to pick up a few gems to bring home! Tee is hilarious! I enjoy the two of them together!

Why does the introduction go on and on ........and on. Every programme, the same marathon intro..
I also find it frustrating but bear in mind these programmes were made back in the day for normal TV weekly broadcasts, hence the lengthy intro. I just fast forward a couple of minutes.
