I really like this piece. I don't have a GMT in my collection, and I am at the point where I can now say field watches fit my lifestyle and personality. I enjoy wearing them all the time and this might be my 1st gmt watch.
I wish I lived where currency was higher Here in India , these watches look cheap in USD but in inr it’s worth 30k , 40k and more Hopefully one day I buy good watches and not random Chinese watches I have one tevise automatic btw which I love And 9 quartz watches which are local and not from a respected brand
@@runallokhande problem is with Titan they make over priced fashion watches that look very appealing but are very bad but people buy Titan instead of HMT which has led Titan to take much of the market and that's the reason HMT is not able to market properly.

Picked the white one up in Tokyo (Ueno neighborhood) last week for $275 USD brand new! Took me 4 weeks to find one after visiting Nagoya, Yokohama, Fujisawa, Abashiri, and their flagship in Ginza. The bracelet is actually really good compared to my other Seiko 5s.
I love it but I do wish they did black hour markings and hands like the explorer. actually the longer I’m into watches the less I like shiny, and high polish.
the black ones are available but i really want the white dial, theres only one availavle in my area and thats double the price of retail. will this color stay as a japanese exclusive or is it going to be a global realese eventually?
@@deepb249 I own the orient kamasu and think it has great value. Retails for 400ish but you can find cheaper online. Solid movement, 200m water resistance, sapphire crystal, screw down crown, and variety of dials that have a sunburst effect. I threw my orient on a jubilee bracelet and it elevates the watch nicely 🤌🏼
As usual with JDM watches you will get no warranty. This combined with a cheap bracelet and probable hardlex crystal is no bargain at all if you live outside Japan.
I believe he addressed the bracelet issue here (like the rest of the 5 Sports GMT models, the bracelets are a *big* upgrade from the usual Seiko fare). The warranty issue is the usual with JDMs - you want the watch badly enough, "you pays your money and takes your chances." Otherwise, just stick to the models officially released in your market.
Good point on the warranty issue (and Hardlex crystal. C'mon Seiko, give us sapphire already). It's worth noting the bracelet on this one is surprisingly good, however! Solid links - much better than your average Seiko 5 bracelet. Just wish the clasp was better.

Won't buy it. The design is too similar to Rolex, no sapphire crystal for a field watch which I don't understand, +the Seiko lovely metal bracelet... 😂

One of those aliexpress adjustable ones will work nicely. I have one on an addiesdive fleiger 5 link bracelet which carries pretty similar dimensions.
