According to wikipedia, during floods, jagaurs will actually mostly stay in trees and prey on monkeys and other arboreal wildlife. Jaguars go on trees all the time. It's just there isn't as much footage as leopards because jaguars are much harder to find.

Jaguars have small dots in their spots and a much wider face with shorter legs, cheetahs have longer torso and longer hind legs with much smaller faces, leopards have crescent shape spots slimmer faces and are my absolute favorite out of the big cat families! Especially the black leopards! Just gorgeous!
One way of looking at the body structures of these cats too is Jaguars have the build of an XL American Bully, Leopards are just an oversized housecat and Cheetahs are built like Greyhounds.
Jaguars and leopards look very similar in a glance, cheetahs are pretty distinguishable.
