Everyone is entitled to their opinion but i have to say as someone who has tasted beers from all around the world that Coors Light is the beer with the least amount of taste i have ever encountered. Even Coors Banquet is lack lustre. The one beer they had that was half way decent they stopped years ago, Coors Extra Gold. This is not just me but many people i have known in my 34yrs here in the US have said the same. All i can say to Coors is add more hopps to your beer to give it flavor.
Great video. I was a 10 year Michelob Ultra drinker. But with the "incident", I've tried both Coors Light and Miller Light. I like Miller Light better.

When AB started sending canned water for disaster relief, I used to joke that they just took cans of Bud Light and changed the labels. Coors is one of the worst beers I've ever had, so when they came out with Coors Light I figured "They figured out how to put a head on water."

I haven't looked over your videos. Here is an idea. Compare Miller Lite to Genessee Light. Compare the mid range cost beers to the cheaper. I really hate to buy cheap cheap beer unless I know how it compares. So many cheap beers now are hard to drink. Believe it, or not, Schmidt beer was my favorite beer in the 1980s. Now I cannot choke it down. It changed dramatically.

Everything in the Big Beer & macro value/premium/super premium categories are "cheap" to me, in terms of price, quality of ingredients/finished product/etc., and end up being far more similar than different. What they tend to have going for them is proliferation, accessibility (because of that and price), and consistency (some of the best QA in the biz even if subjectively the beer isn't great). Maybe I could have gotten into the nuts and bolts that Beer #1 is better than Beer #2 because it is infinitesimally better for 2 cent less per can. But that's not how I really see it. What they are and their context is more interesting to me, and seemingly to others if views, watch time and previous feedback is anything to go by. No, these were all several months from their expiration dates. Acetaldehyde (green apple aroma/smell) is a product of fermentation that normally resolves itself if the fermentation goes smoothly (it gets reabsorbed by yeast later in the fermentation), or to some degree in certain yeast strains/styles, e.g. American light lager and biere de garde, where some amount is normal for the style. EDIT: If they had been old/expired, there would be an expectation of a cardboard/papery note to it, which none of these had.
I can't explain it, Coors Light tastes like Christmas to me, lol. Bud Light tastes like stale liquor and Ultra tastes like water. Team Miller Lite. Yuengling Light is better than all of them.
IMO, I'm kind of impressed you can taste a difference between them. I'm not insulting anything, but I don't think I could take the Pepsi challenge or a blind taste test on light beers. Maybe I should actually try tasting them like this
I think in an absolutely pure blind test, it would be harder to tell. Just by nature of the style, the effect the producer is trying to achieve and the audience these beers are trying to capture, they are more similar than they are different. Doing a side-by-side with some experience lets you point out the differences but they tend to be subtle or much harder to articulate for an average drinker.
Miller lite has the best taste. Michelob is the smoothest. Bud light has that rice note. Coors light has that corn syrup note. Plain and simple pick your poison 😂
Here in Australia I am used to beer with real flavour, your brewers apparently went to the McDonald's school of flavour, where you make a product so bland it can offend no-one.
Is that why Australia has only won 44 World Beer Cup (since 1996) awards as opposed to the US's thousand (since 2012)? That the craft beer scene here has radically shifted beer and styles, not just domestically but globally? Sure, these beer suck, there is no question. I thought I made that kind of clear, but to base our entire brewing scene on these four examples is ignorance, willful or not.

Maybe not but they lobbied to move PA to a "right to work" state affectively threatening the jobs of the very people who bought a lot of their beer AND worked for them, dumped pollutants into the Schuylkill River and dodged their taxes (the argument for whether or not the city of Philadelphia was just trying to collect because they're bad at budgeting or Yuengling really did owe a massive debt is beyond my expertise to dive into). So it's not all sunshine and puppies.

I would suggest Mic Ultra gluten free. Saw it in Tennessee and had a good flavor! Just me. Wish they would sell it every where
