With a 200 watt solar suitcase and two (not one) batteries ... boondocking is a lot more practical. Not everyone wants to be limited to only shore or generator power.
When I saw this video was 22 minutes long, I almost didn't watch it. Well, I am glad that I did because you explained how the vehicle was made and some very good points that I never thought about. This was a great video and worth watching. Question: can the booth be replaced with seats with seatbelts? I am just concerned about my children and their safety and those booth seats made of wood. Great video!
I've never heard this much construction detail mentioned about Coachman before. How do you know all of this? Have you been to Coachman's manufacturing facility? Coachman's floor-plans for this model and the Freelander Micro 19 & 20cb models are my favorites. I'm currently shopping for a used RV to live in full-time and I've been on RV owner forums and they all say Coachman quality is crap, but in all fairness, they say that about most RV's, minus a few exceptions. I'm so frustrated right now because I prefer rock solid quality over bells & whistles. I'm looking for a small but comfortable package and just about everywhere I look I end up disappointed.
Your explanation of the wall construction was excellent but how about the floor construction, I've seen a number of spongy floors from the bathroom leaking.

Finally some great info on the construction methods used. Lots of fluff in the specs online but this reaffirmed my leanings toward Coachmen.
He is probably the most knowledgeable person I've seen. The construction part was my fav.
My FAVORITE camper van on the market! I am someone who WANTS the oven & a full bath & a queen size bed in a shorter length rv. Great review.

I have a 21QB on a Chevy chassis and I like it.

I don't understand the appeal of a U shaped dinette, you lose so much table space for more seating that's only gonna be uncomfortable.
I'd opt for a double recliner with a pair of swing away tables.
