This is one of the best A/B comparisons on youtube. Doing the same riff is the best way to compare and without lots of effects. Great job. I'm very impressed with the noiseless.
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I really am very impressed with the ultra noiseless, they got rid of the “tiny” sound a bit and got the beef I felt they needed. I personally like them a lot. Thank you for your nice comment my friend! I appreciate you taking the time and effort to write something nice! 😊😊
I know right?!?! It’s crazy to me how awesome the ultra sounds!! And honestly, the v mod sound really good to me!, but the sound of the ultra is very clean and balanced. I’m really pleased with it. Thanks for your nice comment my friend! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻I hope you have a great week ahead!
I would love to hear the comparison of having the distortion all the way up but not playing anything I want to hear the background noise quality... I do minimal notes with a lot of ambient reverb and delay with a lot of fuzz, when a note dies out on a lead string I want to see what the noise is like then between all those.
I wonder the same thing my friend! I wish I could get one and compare with mine. For now I got a set of ultra hot noiseless. I want to make a comparison I just haven’t had the time to do guitar tech stuff! 😓 gotta chase that 🪙 hopefully soon!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 thanks for your comment my friend! I hope you’re having a great weekend!
Thank you for your nice comment my friend! In this test both guitars have Ernie Ball Paradigm 10-46. My preferred gauge for my strats right now. I’ve tried 9 and I like how they feel!! But idk why I feel like I can hear more easily the full sound of the guitar. With 9 I loose a little of the midrange character. I wonder if there’s something to the conductivity of the material? And I wonder if let’s say I were to used cobalt, would the gauge still matter to me? Idk, but sounds like a fun rabbit whole.🤣 sorry for the long answer, I hope I answered your question properly! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 have a great week my friend!!
The sound of the white guitar on neck only position is the only reason why I could buy a strat one day. I recently gave an old Cimar (Japanese pre Ibanez) strat copy, the neck pickup is crazy! Stratocasters are made to be played with the neck pickup only 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣 you’re so full of TRUTH 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the neck tone is soooo good!! I personally like position 2 as well, so spanky!! Thanks for your comment my friend! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I got a set in my tele! Great pickups, I think the neck sounds so close to the fat 50s neck pickup. To me, that bridge pickup is INCREDIBLE!!! I was making a video last night with 7 guitars, and that twisted tele bridge is INSANE. I’ll upload it on Friday! So we can check some different sounds!
@@Itsjorgelanzas I think they sound amazing! Love that you made a comparison. I might be in the market for the Ultra Vintage Noiseless, so hearing them compared to the older vintage noiseless and regular pickups was a great way to inform my decision.
I own V1 & V2, V2 has chopped highs which I didn't like. We should be able to pluck any higher note and get close to a chime sound with decent strings. Of course you're probably going to have a little bias because of the various guitar wood and fret metals if any different-stainless steel is crisp others are muddy. I would simply do a test hearing the harmonics because it's a standard when tuning that everyone can relate. Your amp levels are too quiet for the video, we have to crank the sound after you speak to hear the guitar better. Fender changed the coils in V2 based on the particular decade to reflect that time, so they didn't improve upon "noiseless" tech when making the next version, they just mixed up the pickup combination of different ages.
I agree with you. There’s a very special clarity indeed. Every single string sounds very clear and defined. And this has been a tendency every time I compare guitars, people tend to say similar things about the Ultra. Thanks for your comment my friend! I appreciate it! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙏🏼
the fender noiseless are fine with cleans, they are just a bit blah with high gain. they loose the strat bite and personality the vintage has less gain than the ultra. the ultra has a tendency to feedback ring on high gain. I wouldnt consider a seymour duncan HB to have a nice personality, they are a high gain one trick pony. The holy grail is a low compression, noiseless pickup that interacts with a treble bleed volume to adjust gain with picking dynamics.
I felt the same when I first got em, I even returned the guitar 🤣🤣🤣 but then when It didn’t have to be my only strat, I thought about it again tried it and liked it. I feel like, with guitars, sometimes it’s about timing and mood. We’re not looking for the same thing out of a guitar all the time. But then, not everyone works doing music all day and all night, so not everyone needs more sounds. But I agree with you. I didn’t like the scratchy top end they have. But sometimes I’m working on a song, and I remember that sound, try it, and it was JUST what I wanted, so I’ve learned to appreciate it! Thanks for sharing your opinion Joel. I hope you’re having a great weekend! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Great comparison. I'm about to buy a Strat and this helps demystify some of the options in advance.
I’m glad you appreciate it my friend!! Thank you for your nice comment!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 and I hope you enjoy your new strat!!! They’re amazing guitars!
The Ultra sounds amazing. Surprised how great the bridge sounded compared to the Vmod bridge.
Thanks for the comparison

Yeah!! A noise floor Comparison sounds fun! We’ll see friend! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
General consensus is that Ultra 2 noiseless pickup is the best. I wonder if it is considered gen6.

great review, they both sound good.. what gauge of strings did you use or what is your favorite for stratocaster...??

You're right but also consider a telecaster with a "twisted tele" custom shop pickup in the neck. Same sound.

Are these the Ultra Noiseless Hot pickups or the Ultra Noiseless Vintage pickups?
These are the Vintage noiseless my friend! 😊 funny enough, I was wondering if I should drop a hot one in the Bridge!! What do you think friend??

I’m glad you found the video helpful!! And yes, to me, the ultra noiseless sound great. You just need to know how you work then and you’re golden!

Nice! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Sorry about the levels.
Feels like the white guitar has more clarity and “presence”.

Wow those are deep thoughts friend! Thanks for sharing them with us! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Hey man, you'r comparing aples and peers...... different kind of necks
Man, you’re right! They are different guitars indeed. Thanks for your insightful comment! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
The singles sound more responsive
Thank you for sharing your thought my friend!!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Vmod ii pickups have a muddy unclear and overwound sound. I really hate them.
