I feel like Tomi's voice is seriously under-rated. It is so beautiful, and every time i have seen them live his vocals have been spot on. The transitions from cleans to brutals is always seamless. Really enjoyed listening to this.
@@mokuscsik I found them just in 2021 from another band I follow mentioning cancellations and they were booked to the same festival. Completely random that I liked the band name and looked them up. Didn't even know the genre other some association with Rock.
This have been my favourite song for almost 10 years now, independently of my moody music changing tastes. I'm not even into metal for years now. For some reason, it has some kind of energy that resonates deep inside me. Hearing it unwired is like discovering it again. Thanks a lot ❤
I had shyed away from the music of Amorphis due to knowing about the harsh vocals. However, eventually I decided to try listening anyway, and will be forever grateful that i did. All eras of this band are fantastic to me, but Tomi Joutsen's vocals are just astounding. The transition between harsh and clean always amaze me, and yet he can deliver such thoughtful and emotive performances like this too. Truly an immensely talented band, and I will always look forward to hearing more.
