Hey, looking nice you make great progress. comes well along. Your question about the pressure box is the regulator to provide the diesel pump with diesel you may also demount it for checking the pressure of the membrane, the original name is as following Membran dose used in the VW T2/T3 with JX Engine. if there is no pressure on Google for Membran dose T3 so you will find a repair sett for the price of 29,/Euro`s on eBay. all the best,f rom HCS
it is a boost compensator called LDA more boost=more fuel
How can you tell if it's working or not? Do you know?
@@vdubpollygrey7094 try to disconnect it and feel if it's down on power, you should feel quite a difference if it works. but compressed air just a little pressure, a bar or so, if it moves it's not completely dead, you should then be able to check if it leaks by spraying some soapy water at it with pressure. If that checks out the best thing to do would be to take a little drive where it boosts and then have someone sit in the back and look if it moves.
Ok thanks I will check it out this week
@@vdubpollygrey7094 i guess you can also just pull it out and put your finger on the port and see if it goes back in again
What is the name and code of that colour? looks good, would like to do my T3 on that colour, from South Africa.
