TJ, thanks for explaining the difference between flipping and pitching. So many of these TH-cam channels are huge and misinforming people by always calling it flipping. Glad to see you setting the record straight.

What a terrific fisherman! Compared to the guy, this is such a breather of fresh air! I found it especially interesting for this intelligent, experienced fisherman explaining that flipping and pitching are different requiring different gear, etc. Matt Allen has a video after he acquired the original Flipping Stick made by a champion bass fisherman that was banned because he was winning too often as well as being able to catch much bigger fish. It didn’t even have a reel, just as this young man explained. Wow! Please use this fella more often MTB. So nice not to put up with a Googan or a wanna be Googan. Best tutorial video MTB channel has had in many months! BRAVO!

I definitely need to practice on pitching bc I have zero confidence in it bc I can't get it exactly where I want it land. I will definitely be setting up some buckets and stuff in the yard and then stand in the back of the truck and practice but right now with it being close to the 90s I'd have to do it early in the morning or right around sunset

This explains why I catch more fish with my cane pole than I do my rod n reel I've always wondered why I sneaked up on fish better. Catch quality fish with Canev pole sometimes more. You gave me some real good pointers today. Jesus bless you ...
