Yep. Completely incorrect intensity and pitch in relation to the N1. 98% sounds like 88%.... Still doesn't compare to PMDGs own sounds that might not be as "Hollywood" overall, but are 100% accurate interms of what you hear in each phase of flight.

Which version of the sound pack did you download? I have version 1.0.9, I did try version 10 but the engine spool was far too loud to the point they were hurting my ears.

Still seems like FTSim isn't listening to feedback from previous versions regarding sounds... Especially noticeable in the 40-50% N1 range, seems like this version is even worse. Frustrating really.

It's still better than the very underwhelming default sounds. PMDGs sounds are too clean and sterile sounding. It sounds like they recorded the engine sounds and then filtered EVERYTHING else out and flattened the frequencies. You're getting CFM56 sounds, but it's not the way you would hear them sitting in the real airplane.
