Barrister Uju Kennedy Ohaneye distinguished herself as a rare gem in governance, setting a standard for accountability and empathy. Her bold stance against wasteful government expenses and her relentless fight for the rights of the downtrodden resonated deeply with many who long for a leadership that prioritizes the needs of the people.
Her remarkable availability and hands-on approach to addressing critical issues showcased her commitment to public service, making her a beacon of hope for transformative governance. Unfortunately, her dismissal serves as a sobering reminder of how power dynamics can undermine the presence of competent and visionary minds in our ministries.
Barrister Ohaneye’s tenure and legacy will not be forgotten, as her exemplary service remains an inspiration for those who believe in a better and more just government. Her courage deserves recognition and respect, even in the face of adversity.

This woman has a good agenda. She chose impactful programmes on the masses than selected few. Same way President Tinubu chose to remove subsidies that benefited the elites. However, our politics in Nigeria is not yet at the level where a public/political appointee does his/her own initiative and he/she is protected by law.
We are still at the level of watching the body language of your superiors and using diplomacy to approach issues. I look forward to seeing her climb up and become a political post holder again. She has great potentials!!!!
This is not the end Barrister Uju. Keep up your good deeds 🎉

I too love this woman. She is bold, blunt, straight to the point, courageous, not power intoxicated, realistic and loves Nigeria. Nigerians don't like disciplined leaders, who will not accept corruption. If she had allowed massive corruption in her ministry, they will all love and promote her. Nigerians like short cuts and wuruwuru, which she will never condone.

Bo matter how good her intention was she was wrong on two things.
    1. Using het personal funds to run or assist a federal ministry
    2. Calling for people to donate money to run a federal ministry..
Did she got permission to do this? Who controls the money that would have been collected as donations? Would there not have been some temptatipn to divert some of those monies?
I believe that was a serious error on her part.
    No goverment would allow that

I think she is a woman that has good intentions and knows what to but she went about them the wrong way. From what she is saying; how can you use your personal money and they now have to be paying you back. And how can people donate money into an initiative of government under you, and you have to return the money back. I think she should have been taught properly how to do things and not be sacked.

She wanted to be the John Wick in a place that’s absolutely corrupt. You can’t be a messiah where corruption strives. She had good intentions but on the wrong place because those money/cases she fought against is what make the ministry strives and corruption will fight back if you dare try to change the status quo. It’s like joining a notorious cult group and wanting to change how they carry out their daily activities.
