looks awesome dude ! Just got this exact kit for my birthday back on the 4th of september, and my brother from another mother, seeing this, i'm kinda scared now lol.. oh well see you in 2 years lmao
Like the idea of putting the LED light strips in it given it is such a big plane. Just completed my first airliner build in over 40 years and despite the low parts count, it wasn't as easy as it looked.
Very nice job, the BA livery is my fave impressed with the lighting something I keep away from I'm currently building XG-XLEE, having already built LEA, B, C, D. With F,G,H,I,J,K,L to do. The airbus makes such a difference in the paint finished unfortunately don't have one so mine are still bushed put about thinned 7 coats in all. Many thanks for sharing 👍
I just built a 737-200 and now wanna face the challenge of the a380, could only find the first flight airbus livery but at least it was cheap😅. Nice video, will definitely use it to guide me on my journey❤
A beautiful builld. A couple of things i noticed. The fan blades being titanium are more grey than silver and would contrast nicely with the cowling. Also you would save a lot of time by spraying the silver outer cowling before brush painting the inners so avoiding having to do fiddly masking of the inners as this can simply done afterwards if you know what i mean. These are just polite suggestions and not criticisms of a fantastic model.
@@BigScale yep. Totally understandable. Sometimes if hard to find 10 minutes for a simple assembly. But try to organise yourself and get back to business ,🤗
I saw that both tamiya and revell are equally good. None are leaving any marks and none are sticking to the paint. I recommend tamiya as it's a bit cheaper:)
do you water down your paint? also how much did all your stuff cost and also how long did this project take you please? im looking to get started in the modelmaking industry and am just wondering please.
I don't have the time that i would need to be a serious modeller:) but i think 10-20 minutes per day to work on a model it's a decent and easy to find timeslot. It took me 2 months to do this but again with limited time. I think for a 5 level airplane kit it can take 1week maximum. Then 2 to 4 more days for editing. The important thing here is to have fun while you're doing this. Most of the colors i use are acrylic and water based so no need to water thin them, maybe just pour few drops when colors get old and become a bit sticky. Just for airbrushing i use 50/50 tamiya thinner
OK!!! Now if they can make this in 1/144, WHY NOT make a far more iconic aircraft kit, the B-47 or C-119 in 1/48? Thousands of these aircraft were built and would be roughly the same size a model...but with much more detail possible. COME ON!! Will some kit manufacturer make a B-47 and C-119 in 1/48? Interior lights for the 119 would be very nice. Put a truck or some cargo inside. Good job on this tiny scale 380 however😅
I take my hat off to you - phenomenal skill and patience! Well done!
Thanks for your kind words 🙏
Masterpiece with precision, that's just as good as the real thing, I enjoyed watching the building process, keep up the good work mate.
Thanks so much for the nice words. Glad you enjoyed it 🤗
So nice i love it❤
Thank you! 😊
Fantastic work
Many thanks 🙏

:) it's not that scary after all. Being a lever 5 kit might have some challenges but for sure it's manageable 😉 and late happy birthday 🎈🎂
Nice work, very nice work 👍.
Thank you! Cheers!

Agree. At some point it can have its challenges but the important thing is to have fun while building the airplane. 🤗
Great skills on show . My patience doesn’t go this far anymore !
:) for sure you can do it. It takes 10 mintes per day to work on it. Then you edit the video to look like you did it in one day:)))
Beautiful work and attention to detail.
Thank you very much!
Can't believe how big that thing is, even in 1:144 ... !
Yep. A big bird indeed:)
What a great job you had done 👍
Thank you! Cheers!

Nice build! Try to add parchment paper behind the windows to diffuse the LED's, super easy to do and works wonder.
Great idea. Thanks

It's a nice livery indeed. Enjoy your build. Revell kits can be sometime a bit challenging but the model looks good in the end:)
Beautiful work !!!
Thank you! Cheers!

:) wow. Nice piece of advices. Thanks so much.
P.s. it's easy to see that these are coming from a hardcore modeller:)
@@MahaysAttic Thank you. I look forward to your next lovely build.
Yeah. Working harder to the a300 beluga. :) gorgeous model but doing the interior proved to be a way to bigger chunk for me:)
Nice bro❤👍🏻
Thanks man !! 😊
Soooo nice Video 🎉
Thanks man. Glad you like it ☺️
Wow sick 🎉
Thanks 🙏
Nice work!
Thanks man! All good on your side? It's been a while since your last build.
@@MahaysAttic yes, I’m okay, but I haven’t time to build models 😕

HI AND AGAIN a380 KIT WINGS SCRATCHES GROUND: Use Metal spar perpendicular the body to swept up for wings to hold positive rate up;)
Wow. Thanks for the advice 🙏
Nice work. It would have probably been a lot easier had the model kit had tighter tolerances.
Agree. Usually zvezda kits are a bit better moulded and needs less putty:)
nice.....and next one Qantas, Etihad .etc :D
Thanks for appreciation. I would try to change the old Lufthansa livery on an old 380 build with the new Lufthansa livery. not sure tho 😊
Nice job, got this to do. Any tips for the window masking!?
Yep. I have the mr masking sol neo. Furtunatelly this revell kit don't have the clear parts for windows so no masking needed:)
nice model
Yep. Agree. Revell did a nice job on this !!
I have a question which masking tape are you using is it Leaving tape glue?
I saw that both tamiya and revell are equally good. None are leaving any marks and none are sticking to the paint. I recommend tamiya as it's a bit cheaper:)
@@MahaysAttic okey thanks and how long you wait before you mask the other colour
@@KSAWEKZY19 1 to 2 days. But it's not by the book. I gently touch the sourface and you can feel if it's perfectly dry:)
Amazing build!!!
How did you do that? You added a lipo inside? How do you charge it?
Pure genius, thanks for sharing
:) thanks for the nice words. It has wires that goes through the front lsnding gear:)

How long you Worked on it every day
20 minutes. Maybe 1h on weekends but not every day. Some of the steps require 1 day for the paint to dry
British Peoples, Please love the world favorite airlines
They should indeed 😎
very good well done invest in a better spray gun you will notice the difference
Yep. And a better technique I would say :)
Nice one! I would like to buy it, but sadly its hard to find this model in Russia
Sorry to hear that 😔
Ask Putin, he’ll steal one from another country for you.
@@MahaysAtticI actually found one with decent price, gonna paint it in emirates livery
Good luck.A380 in emirates looks astonishing.
I Watched The Shorts On A380-800
Yep. I did few shorts on this build:)
electrical installation 🤮, the rest 👌, I liked the music
Yeah. :) well... I've tried :) thanks for appreciation 😀
