You clearly don’t understand this type of character cause he is common in shows. First of all he never had any interest in any of the other chimeras and just saw them as pawns, secondly he is that type who just wants power in order to prove something but in the end all he really wants is love. He just an asshole cause thats all he ever knew and grew with. They showed perfectly his evil side, dramatic mentall downfall and then he came back wanted to redeem himself and eventually became part of the pack and formed a clossed bond with liam. If they showed beyond season 6 theo that would be a whole different persone than 5 ( yes he was loved by tracy but he didnt had the mental breakdown yet as that was the breakpoint - facing his sister and the consequences)
