@@willm3539 At this point in his life and career, he has absolutely nothing to prove to anybody so he's just playing and learning at his pace. To him, ranked is training mode... he will take stupid risks, he will do stupid things like back off deliberately from a won match and probably eat a loss just to see if he can come back from a losing situation that he created himself... shit like that. You have to do all sorts of things, good and bad, in order to learn and since he's admitted he learns slowly... yeah, there's going to be good and bad.

Daigo’s Akuma looks extremely boring. And I believe he plays it not in a way it’s supposed to be. Akuma has a lot of plus frames and pressure tools. Daigo just annoys opponents with fireballs. 😕
