Baraka's combos are so simple and yet they feel so satisfying in this game. I was grateful for him being in mk11 but he felt so bulky and the combos just didnt seem flashy like these. ❤
Completely agree...I couldn't get into that flag system of MK11 they gave him. I'm sure some were into it, but this game revitalized the character for me in a way I haven't felt since his OG MK2 days.

This is really helpful. I love using Baraka's overheads and low-mid attack (Back X) to start combos, and this tutorial showed me lots of other ways to portray that 👍🏾

The timing to call cyrax is crazy. Idk you guys but when I call cyrax to continue a combo 90% it hits me too and I drop the combo

Try to slow down the video and look at the frame he inputs the kameo.
It’s exactly when during the db1 that you stab him the second time that you call in your cyrax.

I literally picked up shao yesterday picked him and jumped right in kombat league. Never even played one match with him and he is very easy to learn on the fly I've won a few sets with him he has some good mix once u get the hang of him.
There's a really good one of Reiko up now with some great Kameo combos with Frost and Jax

While I’ve had the game for several weeks, I haven’t played a lick until last night due to work, and man. I like Barakas feel as well as rain. I think those two will be who I try to learn the most. felt satisfying as fuck to chop up with baraka with family that I can’t wait to get nice and test my skills against the best!

I can’t figure out how to keep Cyrax from damaging me. For example during DB1, when I call Cyrax before the move is done he helicopter blades the enemy AND me and I end up being unable to finish the combo because I was hit
I wanna know of anyone else had this issue when I was installing the game I was in practice mode and some move inputs were different than what the move list told me it was like with geras fixed point was back forward circle when I was installing the game and then it was down back x when the game finished

How can I do the the Cyrax Kameo after the DB1 consistently? Everytime I try, Cyrax just pushes me away, I just can’t get it like it’s shown in the video 😢

It’s all about timing after doing his DB1. Need to input Cryax’s Kameo move as soon as Baraka is about to finish his DB1. Like half a sec before he throws the opponent down. Hope this helps! Not too good at explaining so don’t murder me 😭

I’ve been trying to do the jump combos with the 1 and 4 and then the 2,1 into special but they keep dropping or I’ll get them inconsistently. Anyone else had this issue or know how to fix it?

@@sammayes588 I found out you gotta input it when your almost at the ground but not quite. Practice jumping and then doing a 21. It’s annoying but it works

Not a pro lol was practicing with my son and watched your video. This "b31, j14, 21~df2" what kind of insane timing do you need to pull off the 21 after J14? I managed to get it like once or twice over 100 attempt. Does input options affect this? I'm on pc... any help would be appreciated. (I know some combos do more damage but I really want to get to know him, very fun to play)
Hi, Baraka main here!
The best way I've learned to hit it consistently is to slightly delay your jump (i'm talking like 1/10 of a second delay) and then wait until they look like they're gonna hit the floor. The recovery window of the jump should leave you enough room to pull off the 21~df2 combo.

No Bro, as time goes by, they patch some of the characters' movements so that they do less damage.

@@nicholaslim878yup, the hit has 4 moments, the first one impales him, the 2nd is a hit, the 3rd too and the 4th he nails it with both arms back and throws it. The idea is that you call cyrax at the moment of the 2nd hit, with that tip you will start realizing when to call him :)
