If you can prove that you mentioned people in a comedic way you are not defamatory. Legal Eagle has a youtube vid on SLAP suits as well which goes into it.
You may want to hire a lawyer so he can handle the discovery and deposition aspects. It works both ways, so you will be able to request info and be able to depose Farve, just like he can with you.

As a former trial attorney, If he has actually filed something (I couldn't tell if there was a filing stamp at the top) be sure you enter an Answer and Denial within 30 days, otherwise they can seek to take your default. That would be bad. You can find out whether anything is actually filed by going to the appropriate court website and going to the docket.

Yeah aside from the Johnny Depp one, which had a lot of aggravated circumstances, you almost never see these go to trial when the plaintiff is a public figure. And despite how funny a deposition of Pat & AJ would be, I'm 95% certain they will settle out of court. That's probably the best Favre's lawyers can hope for, and the people who give Pat money would rather they just deal with it behind closed doors than risk losing at trial, however small that chance may be.

If you can prove that you mentioned people in a comedic way you are not defamatory. Legal Eagle has a youtube vid on SLAP suits as well which goes into it.
You may want to hire a lawyer so he can handle the discovery and deposition aspects. It works both ways, so you will be able to request info and be able to depose Farve, just like he can with you.
