The US Navy will develop a fleet of done manufacturing ships to accompany carrier groups. These ships will manufacture airborne, surface and sub-surface drones in theatre. A total game changer.
Curious, Presently if you want to Warn the other ship you will signal it and then sometimes fire a warning shot across its Bow to signal it to Stop. so against a drone ship, how does a drone ship handle it? do the other ship just sink it since there is no human life onboard? and there is no way the drone ship can hoist signal flags to communicate when comms is jammed.
@CitizenGreyAG any idea how many flags are there, (i mean signal flags) and depending on the message it has to be arranged and hoisted. not that it cant be done by a robot. it seems to be the "drones" are now playing the role of the "sniffer dogs" to lead ahead and do the "dangerous" work of detecting the enemy and if there is an ambush or trap, let it be the first to get hit, while the valuable humans sit in the command vessel safely behind and retreat to safety if things dun go well. Same for those "Loyal Wingman" concept, and drone ships to detect subs, they dun need to be stealthy they can be as noisy as they want and use active sonar to ping the hell they want, as the enemy submarines would know their location but thats ok, no harm done anyway.
@@aaronsalyers4819 some drones are controlled by a set of waypoints and others have an automatic return to home system incase they go off course/out of range of the control system

@@caboose69 I'm surprised that the Navy would allow a ship to be built with an aluminum structure, especially after the HMS Sheffield was so easily sunk in the Falklands War. And then there's the added problem of aluminum fatiguing no matter how small the applied force. It's just not a good structural material for anything which needs to last. That dude that designed and built the Titan sub - I'd expect someone like that to use aluminum.
just like google map, we can see everything on the surface, simillarly navy should create the entire underwater sea map. In underwater, they should create milliatry base, tunnel for quick movement and build all kinds of sophisticate weapon system so they can attack ememy ship from underwater.

Besides even simple Ukraine unmanned naval crafts have proved success against Russian prided manned giant naval vessels in the Mediterranean Sea, so for the US to pursuit the development of this weapon technology of unmanned naval vessels is a definitely logical consequence, and so will the world; therefore, the US must lead.
The only thing that keeps a US Navy Nuclear Powered Submarine from staying at sea year round for many years is the fact that it have to come back into port to re-stocks on food supply and to change out crews after so many months of sea service. An Un-man Nuclear Powered Submarine will not have to come in to change out crews after so many months at sea, and it will never have to surface just to get re-supply underway at sea, or come back to port to gets re-supply with food.
@zane9758 well if Russia was our only adversary, I'd say cool, but they aren't. Imagine a fleet of drones, unmanned, of course, billions of dollars on the line, and no human nearby to make a repair when it breaks down because we went with the lowest bidder.

@christophermiller9624 The point you should have made is that expensive drones ore obsolete. At least, you can't let anyone shoot them down (or piss them down, like in the Black Sea). The drones shouldn't be more expensive than the things which can shoot them down. Then they certainly aren't obsolete!
@harrydunn3687 The US is like Boston Dynamics. They can build nice toys, which can do impressive things like back-flips. But, unfortunatly they have the MIC tuned to profit, so it gets somewhat expensive. Without the Petrodollar, they can only afford prototyps. Loosing a few, like might happen in a war, becomes an economic nightmare, or a boon, depening if you are the MIC or not. Luckily the US has NATO, an assured market for their complicated toys!

What about Biden don't you like. Under his watch unemployment is at it's lowest, our economy is doing better than all the G-7 countries, job growth is at unprecedented levels, the US is drilling more oil than it ever has, and unlike the guy you support he is not trying to overthrow the Constitution.
