Damn! ALi can sing anything. I almost stood and clapped in my room by myself. I don't understand why she isn't a household name all over the world. Her raw emotion and technical skill combined with her unique tone is a gift from God to all of us. My goodness.
her arrangement! she is an ARTIST...this performance and this eps. was exceptional!
she is not the one arranging the song though. The credit says the arranger is Yun Seok-cheol.
This performance was one of the most unique performances I've ever seen. It was interesting the way they made her voice and the instruments sound like the wind blowing in a lonely night. Her voice can reach so much power In a sudden which surprised me and made me just captivated by the performance. It was not my favorite performance but one of the most distinct.
This sounds like something you don't watch, but you listen too. Amazing.

They don't call her the QUEEN for nothing !This lady can sing any style of song ,I think she is a world class singer.I have three of her albums, and would have more but they are hard to find in the U.S.A.

I usually have high expectations everytime I watch Immortal Songs, particularly first timers and great artists like ALi, Son Seungyeon, Sandeul, Jung Donghwa, etc... This performance really reaches my expectation. And the jazz trumpet performance by Choi Sunbae really adds the emotion to this song... I just love it!!
It was a cover of Ali totally different from the original version ~^^
The trumpeter at the beginning made me think I was listening to Chuck Mangione (I like him a lot)

I thought that the original sung by Ms. Choo-Ja Kim was the definitive, final, and best interpretation and couldn't imagine another interpretation which might be paralleled to it before I saw this! Really epic! Ali is just a genius. The brilliance of the trumpet should also be appreciated. Bravo!

First Sight, i still guessing what kind of genre that will Chio SunBae &ALi perform, but starting i listened to ALi audible, goosebumps coming and getting stronger & stronger every second. Wow... Its really captivated performance. I want to see the full show of this episode its a masterpiece. The song itself like have a soul & consume all of my attention. Totally Captivated Me....

By far the best version ever... I've heard many Korean singers perform this song and in my opinion, have yet to beat this version. That's MY opinion of course. Chio Sunbae and Ali sure know how to tell a story.... sad, raw and yet so beautifully captivating!! 10/10 ♥♥♥
