You realize that Ed's personality is not crazy and unbridled, he is a more reflective and focused guy, his teenage years have passed, he now reflects Ed's new stage as a father, a calmer and more responsible guy (although always He was seen as someone more shy and serious unlike the rest of the artists who go for excesses, parties and drugs), and he always looked uncomfortable in quick interviews and here I agree with you Ed looks more relaxed and comfortable in this type of format

Ed is such a humble bloke, he is one of the top musician in the world but the fact that he still excited about other and not make everything about himself is top noch.
Ed is the type of person to go on Podcast and Interview the Host.
Graham Norton's show is the only one that is close to the more long form, casual conversation that is sorta like the podcast. I find it easier to watch than some other late night shows.

The podcast is amazing either way, but with somebody as huge as Ed Sheeran, it’s cool to have a live audience because everybody is familiar with his work and they are able to enjoy it more compared to how they might with a guest that some people might not know.
In the end, with an audience it is like watching Conan's late show again, but you get the best of both worlds, because the scenario proposed is much more relaxed without having the same thing they said, a format with hasty interviews, segments and a structure which is repeated in a forced way, however here they feel the "pressure" of having an audience, but that does not mean they have a forced structure, in the end everything is more improvised and relaxed, but without forgetting the structure of having to deliver content or have interaction with the public, that's why I also share your opinion

Love Ed, always have always will. Its like he has always been so adult and mature in his life he doesn't know any other way. When he does enjoys himself, he feels guilty about it.

@@raveoreynolds6049 Yeah, that's what nearly 20+ years of talk show hosting does to a man. Thankfully, the podcast format seems to be wearing him down on that front and there's been a few times where he gives his genuine opinion which is cool to see.

If you notice he said he was drinking wine. Depending on how much he drank it was very likely a terrible combo. A couple of years ago I had several drinks and then smoked for the first time. Similar to his story, I also kept hitting it because it felt fine at first. Before I knew it I could barely see straight. It wasn’t really that you go blind, but that the sensation of high and drunk makes your eyes doing an odd thing where they want to constantly roll backwards. Had to sit down and let it pass after about 30 minutes. It was pretty trippy.
Personally, I absolutely love the combination. When I’m really smashed, I’ll gladly pass on the weed part, but after only a few drinks, I love a blunt

Fan theory: there _is_ such a thing as endogenous cannabinoids (ones produced by the human body, in fact that’s why weed affects us, it binds to receptors that already exist for the cannabis-like compounds that are normally produced as part of our biochemistry). Knowing that… and knowing that Conan naturally acts like someone who’s high, but isn’t really affected by weed… _what if_ Conan has some kind of rare genetic mutation where his body’s constantly producing unusually high levels of these endogenous cannabinoids, meaning he’s naturally stoned all the time without having to use weed?

I think when you like someone and you feel comfortable with them then you keep them around you and that's what I think about Conan and Sona. If you have talent you survive but if not then you can't ride on someone's back for too long
