      LHB is being prioritized for trains operating on high speed routes. This isn't one of them

      LHB would be nice when it comes to safety. But the number of SL coaches are being reduced drastically. After LHBfication, 11013/14 has just 2 SL coaches and 10 3A coaches. but inspite of this, patronage is encouraging.

    Vistadome would be nice. Hope they attach one coach to either end of the formation.

      This train runs mostly at night. Vistadome wouldn't work well for such a route

      @@Travancorepillai Ah. There is no point having a vistadome at either ends of the rake. They'll have to enjoy looking at the loco both ways

    If u hv to take loco reversal at MAQ while going from MAJN to Kerala in THIS train, how come Netravati, TVC Raj don't require Loco reversals ??

      All those trains do not go to MAQ. They directly go from Netravati to MAJN

    Electrification along the route and introduction of faster trains will be most helpful for those from the northern districts of Kerala and Mangalore region. This train averages 30 kmph while descending the ghats. A fast service between Kannur/ Kozhikode to Yeshwantpur or Mysore will be very popular.

      An increase in speed through the ghat is unlikely - every ghat section has restrictions, and that doesn't change with electrification.
