Wow great footage
No. Just no. 🤢
It’s been nearly thirty years, but I still remember getting up after my mom had left for work one hot summer morning. The cream-colored tile floor in the kitchen felt a little-sticky. Without my glasses or contacts, I bent over to get a good look. Maggots. My mother adored trash compactors because you didn’t have to take the kitchen garbage out as often, so she’d have them installed in her kitchens. A fly had apparently gotten into it and laid eggs.
I took out the trash, cleaned and disinfected the floor, and then cleaned and disinfected every bit of the compactor I could reach. And learned you couldn’t really do much of that because of all the parts. I swore I would never, never have a trash compactor in my kitchen. I have a regular bin under the sink that gets emptied once or twice a week, and have never had maggots.
Now that’s a catchy title for a video!
